13/05/2024: Il nome trae in inganno, non è un'osteria, come il nome vuole far credere, ma un ristorante di altissimo livello. Caldo, accogliente, personale gentilissimo, informato e discreto. Di solito è difficile uscire da un ristorante e sentirsi bene, soddisfatto e contento dell'esperienza. Capita poche volte. Soprattutto capita poche volte con quei locali altisonanti, tutto fumo, con stelle ed altre encomi, ma poi esci deluso. In questa osteria (di nome), il palato è deliziato, con ingredienti locali ma lavorati e preparati con estro e cura del dettaglio. Ho visitato tanti locali in Italia e nel mondo, ma questo merita davvero una menzione speciale. Per come mi ha fatto sentire dopo la cena, un bel 10 e lode. Spero non cambino, che continuino per tanto tempo perché vorrei rivivere di nuovo questa bella esperienza. Complimenti !!!

12/05/2024: The torteria da Tamara, a place in the center of Modena, in front of the cathedral where, calmly, you can enjoy lots of homemade and still warm desserts/cakes, accompanied with coffee/cappuccino. Run by wonderful people always with a smile and even if exhausted at the end of the shift, always ready to have a chat. Highly recommended if you want to satisfy some sweet cravings during the day or to relax with friends 😉

21/05/2024: My wife and I traveled throughout parts of northern Italy for 2 1/2 weeks and ate very well everywhere HOWEVER our meal at Zemian was unquestionably the best of all - friendly staff and expertly prepared fantastic dishes. The Risotto in wine was superb and the Pork in Balsamic excellent. Go if you can secure a reservation !

29/04/2024: A small pearl in Serramazzoni, the Ca' was truly an experience to be recommended without reservations. Very welcoming place, vintage and family atmosphere with the possibility of extending outside when the weather is in ideal conditions. Reservation recommended. Coming to the menu, choices for each diet (vegetarian for example) with strictly local ingredients. Indeed, one of the bomb dishes is the tortelloni cacio e pepe (usually off the menu) while the rest varies based on seasonal availability. Excellent presentation of the dishes, excellent selection of wines, desserts and bitters. In general, the added value that I always appreciate is keeping the focus on a few courses so as not to overdo it with the risk of getting lost unnecessarily. I didn't find any surprises including the bill, I appreciated the entrée offered. The very kind chef who cordially came to personally greet each diner, here too the Ca' finds its importance in small things like this. Until next time!
