Lovely restaurant located in a quiet road of the city centre.
They serve delicious authentic food from the Italian region Abruzzo.
The Chitarrine alla termana are definitely my favorite. Also the rest was nice: arrosticini, formaggio fritto, peperoni and uova, cacio e ova.
The service is ok, not bad but also not wow. Few smiles would be appreciated but we are humans and maybe it wasn't their best day.
Prices are good
Little note, there is no network inside the restaurant and they have no Wi-Fi. We had to get in touch with some friends who were late and for this reason we had to go out to try to give them a call or check if they sent us a message.

Excellent Abruzzo cuisine place where you can taste the typical kebabs. I recommend the liver ones and the handmade ones which are tastier, the local wines are also excellent. Unfortunately there are sometimes not enough liver kebabs as they only prepare part of them, so I recommend ordering them immediately if you want them. Unfortunately, we ran out of roasted potatoes which are usually very good and grilled vegetables are also good. If I really have to find a flaw, it certainly lies in the part of the desserts where there are only three of the Modenese tradition and the one that should change was not available. Clean place and helpful staff. The place on Friday was full and many people who hadn't booked were turned away so I recommend booking on Friday and Saturday. Quiet and very relaxing environment, impeccable and very friendly service. The starters (truffled Ascoli olives and the typical Abruzzo starter) are worth it, very good and with the right portions. Also recommended are the first courses (tortellini with butter and sage), which are delicate, tasty and melt in your mouth.
Finally, the handmade kebabs are delicious, tasty meat, cooked well and tender.
I recommend visiting this place to eat good dishes of typical Emilian and Abruzzo cuisine.

Delicious food, friendly service, affordable prices and a lovely atmosphere. Yes, the portions are small, but that’s good because then you can try more things! The lamb skewers are a must-try. One of the nicest dinner experiences we’ve had in Italy. We would definitely come back again :)

On a sunny Sunday in October, after a nice trip to the Ferrari museum in Maranello, we decided to visit beautiful Modena with the children.
After some vicissitudes given that several restaurants were fully booked, we found this tavern which is slightly outside the historic center of the city.
I would say that this was absolutely a great fortune because in this way we had the opportunity to visit this place masterfully managed, with passion and competence and with a real homely atmosphere, not artificial, but real. In fact, everything is produced in an artisanal way: from fig jams, to grandmother's pickled peppers, to the sublime mustard (which for my partner, devoted to this product, is worth making a new trip, perhaps to enjoy it with some boiled meat). ) and obviously to the homemade pasta and desserts.
What is not handmade by the family is still sourced from highly selected local producers who guarantee exceptional quality of the raw material! In fact, what can we say about the foies gras, or the organic mallard hunter style, or the ricotta used as a filling for the tortelli, or the hare sauce... in short, I would say it was truly a sublime experience which I concluded pleasantly with a good tasting of cheeses.
The lunch was accompanied by an excellent 2011 Orfeo: a pure Cabernet Sauvignon from the Corte d'Aibo company.

Ottimo ristorante di cucina abruzzese. Antipasti buoni e primi piatti e arrosticini eccezionali.
Personale di servizio molto gentile e professionale così come i titolari con i quali ho avuto occasione di scambiare 2 chiacchiere. Conto corretto anzi direi decisamente buono per la qualità del cibo. Bravi! Ci rivedremo certamente.

Mia moglie e io siamo stati per pranzo in questo locale situato al centro di Modena. Il ristorante ha cambiato gestione nell’estate 2023 ed è stato completamente ristrutturato. Gli attuali gestori sono due coniugi abruzzesi. Il locale ha due sale ed è ben arredato. Il servizio è accogliente, gentile e professionale. Il menù è formato principalmente da piatti della tipica tradizione abruzzese (antipasto di pallotte cacio e uova, formaggio fritto e peperoni e uova; primo di chitarrina alla teramana; secondi di arrosticini di pecora e pecora alla callara) ma sono presenti anche alcuni piatti modenesi. Noi, da abruzzesi, abbiamo ordinato i piatti tipici della nostra regione e abbiamo costatato che i sapori sono quelli dell’Abruzzo (da sottolineare il taglio manuale degli arrosticini). Le quantità delle porzioni sono abbondanti. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.
