17/08/2025: We arrived in Barzio with the idea of an aperitivo, but two or three places turned us down. Finally, we found "Alimentare Milano," and that was a whole different story. As soon as we entered, we met Giovanna, the owner: a genuine, friendly, and helpful person. Although she was a bit blunt in her manner (which makes her even more authentic!), she immediately put us at ease with a "Don't worry, I'll take care of it." And indeed, she made us feel welcome: excellent wine, all kinds of cheeses, delicious cured meats... in short, an aperitivo that turned into a true taste experience.
