YUMARA - le terrazze del gusto In Maratea

On a tourist trip, this was our first time at this restaurant, recommended by locals. Quality food. Tables for four were too small to accommodate our order. Our only major disappointment: in an area rich in olive trees and olive oil presses, the oil served was from a supermarket chain.

A magical atmosphere from days gone by, impeccable service, and rare kindness. With an enchanting view... I forgot, the food was also fresh (a small fried dish).

What a wonderful discovery! Kudos to all the staff for the excellent food and impeccable service.

Have come every year for a while… they have taken away their pizzeria which we felt would be a mistake as their pizza was great. However despite higher prices, we were really impressed with the food. The staff is ultra-friendly and thoughtful. My only criticism is that the back area of the restaurant packs atmosphere and has very spaced out tables which makes clients feel a bit lost and bored. This should be remedied asap. We ate upstairs where there is “fine dining” of sorts. I will attach pics. The risotto (no photos unfortunately) was incredible. The pasta with pistacchio e vongole was fabulous, as was the spirulina pasta with tuna tartare. I say this as an Italian living abroad who is generally suspicious of meddling with Italian food. Tonight we will try the bistro downstairs which has an entirely different menu.

Highly recommended! Welcoming place, friendly and professional staff! Excellent dishes and exceptional view. I recommend anyone passing through these parts to stop in this fantastic place!

Breathtaking location. Without a doubt it is the coolest place in Maratea. I was there last year in the restaurant upstairs and I ate really well. Fresh fish and a good choice of wines. This year I returned and to my great pleasure, I found on the lower floor, where the pizzeria used to be, a freesh-food where I really appreciated the "cuoppo" of fried anchovies and other things like fish sandwiches. An interesting, innovative idea for those who don't want to go to a restaurant but at the same time enjoy a pleasant evening at the port. Highly recommended.

Spectacular location, undoubtedly the most beautiful in all of Maratea, it is no coincidence that I chose it as the place for my wedding! Fabulous food, special dishes, but at the same time authentic and delicious. Top restaurant!!! This year we returned and found a gem, they inaugurated a "sea bistro" for those who do not want to dine at a restaurant, but linger on the first floor with music, excellent cocktails and appetizers of fried cuoppi, fish sandwiches and much more.. Friendly and kind staff. A must if you are in Maratea!!!

The place is very beautiful and with an enchanting view. However the quality-price ratio is really low, the prices are high, but they do not guarantee the quality and quantity.
