Everything was delicious, the place was beautiful, the owner and the staff were very kind and competent.

Lots of potential, top-notch dining room staff. The non-trivial dishes are excellent (eel, entrees, etc.), but the sushi is only decent; I recommend upping the quality or removing it from the menu. The first course (oysters and similar) required a 30-minute wait. I should also add that, with a €140 ticket for two (we ate several dishes with a €30 bottle of wine), I have to make one comment: the €4 water is a bit embarrassing; I suggest discounting it selectively at the cashier.

I don't judge those who choose to share images; on the contrary, I understand their appeal; however, I believe that a sincere and truthful description is more valuable. Just a few days ago, I also shared a photo of a perfectly executed manicure, but it was only right to do so out of respect for the salon, especially after a disappointing experience elsewhere. However, I remain of the opinion that genuine, unfiltered accounts of experiences are the best way to convey what you truly feel. Let's begin my review of this place 😉 The dishes are a true delight: every course is meticulously crafted, both in presentation and flavor. Among my favorites: Tuna tartare with pistachio and avocado Evolution of raw ham and selection of mixed raw ham Temaki with fried shrimp and cucumber Yu Uramaki with smoked salmon and gorgonzola tempura Soft Crab with fried crab, zucchini, and teriyaki Flamed Uramaki with salmon, avocado, teriyaki, and smoked herring caviar Uramaki with lobster and crabmeat tempura The nigiri deserve a special mention: the salmon, tuna, sea bass, and cuttlefish are all of superlative quality. Finally, the desserts, such as the meringue and mango and the matcha tea crème brûlée, were perfect. The wine list is well-structured and allows for perfect pairings with every course. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive to customer needs. Their hospitality and attentive service contribute to making the experience pleasant and seamless. The point I'd like to make a comment about is the price: the ingredients are top-quality, and the dishes are definitely worth the price. However, to make the restaurant more accessible to a wider audience, it would be desirable to lower the prices slightly. For example, a €75 tasting menu could be reduced to €50-60, thus introducing their dishes to more people without compromising on quality. Yu Restaurant is a place I highly recommend to those looking for high-quality, creative dishes, and impeccable service. However, considering that there's a lot of competition in the area and that, while they appreciate quality food, most people also pay attention to the price, a small price adjustment could make the restaurant more accessible and help it become an even more well-known and popular destination in Treviso. I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was more of an experience than just a meal.
