Welcome India In Trento

The place is simple but clean. The staff is very kind, welcoming, and fast. They have an extensive menu. The dishes are generous and very tasty. Prices are average. We'll be back!

This was our very first time trying Indian food in a restaurant and we were not disappointed at all, in fact it was quite the opposite. The young man and lady who served us were both incredibly friendly and kind. They spoke perfect English and were very helpful throughout our visit. We ordered two beef masalas and a fried fish dish (I cannot remember the exact name) and everything was simply amazing. The beef was cooked perfectly, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the rice was delicious alongside it. Luckily the waiter recommended the naan bread and we tried the garlic one. It was heavenly and paired beautifully with the meal. Both the interior and exterior were elegant, nicely decorated, and spotlessly clean. What surprised us even more was the price: only 57 euros for three main dishes, a side, a salad and three drinks. For the region and in general, this felt very fair and even on the lower side for the quality we received. Overall we were beyond satisfied. Since we were only visiting Trento as tourists, this experience made us excited to seek out Indian restaurants elsewhere too. We are very grateful for the warm welcome and the extraordinary food.

A corner of India in the heart of Trento. We went to Welcome India for dinner and the experience was really pleasant. The atmosphere is comfortable. We ordered grilled and chili shrimp tails, as well as an excellent chili chicken: tasty dishes, spiced just right and presented with care. All accompanied by fragrant basmati rice and soft naan. The staff was very kind and attentive. An excellent choice for those who love authentic Indian cuisine. Highly recommended!
