A very quaint setting in an old olive oil mill. The menu doesn't have many dishes, but they're well-made.

The most beautiful and charming pub in the Diano Marina area! The Water Wheel is located in Diano San Pietro, about 3 km from the center of Diano Marina. It's always very crowded, so reservations are recommended. The pub is truly unique and owes its name to the fact that it was built around a watermill (still in operation!). Inside, many antiques make it feel almost like a mountain pub! In the summer, it offers a spacious outdoor terrace. Excellent beer and excellent food (pizza, focaccia, arrosticini, etc.).

For me, this place is part of my history. I've been going there since I was a boy, and every time I've brought friends here, you can be sure it'll be a success. From the evocative and at times breathtaking location, a venue converted from an old stone mill with multiple spaces, each unique and welcoming, from the timeless charm of the exposed stone to the excellent, custom-designed sofas, the British-pub-inspired decor, and the consistently great music that accompanies your evenings, it's an exclusive, if not unique, place to enjoy a wide variety of excellent beers, both draft and bottled, accompanied by the various grilled meat options—masters of which they are an example of their pursuit of quality in the way they are served—but also delicious pizzas and more, all enhanced by the class and natural charm of the longtime manager or his son, who seems like his father was cloned...! Highly recommended, whether you're bringing a partner or for large groups. In this case, I recommend booking only during the busiest times; otherwise, go with confidence, it will be a success...!!

Great beer, welcoming place and everyone is very kind.

Interesting location in a converted mill, quaint and rustic with a bar-like charm, and at first glance, not a "real" restaurant. The pizza, however, was sensational! Update 1 year later: The kids are still raving about the pizza; it really made a lasting impression!
