Reservar una fiesta de 23 en Ravello es un desafío. Villa María era muy sencillo de tratar, aunque solo podíamos elegir un menú fijo para toda la mesa, así que fue un poco de un salto de fe para reservar. Dicho esto, la reserva fue la más fácil y fluida de todo nuestro viaje a Ravello y la comida estuvo más que a la altura de las expectativas. El dispositivo era bueno y la ubicación es sensacional. Muy atmosférico en efecto, fuera en el patio, aunque con algunas pantallas para mantener fuera la brisa. Excelentes sugerencias de vino también. En general una comida encantadora.

This restaurant has one of the most beautiful and surreal views in Ravello. We tried their lamb chops, lasagna, and rabbit risotto, and all were delicious. I would highly suggest coming here for a special occasion!

The rooms were clean and as expected, the breakfast was ok, the restaurant was unfortunately disappointing, it has a magnificent view. But; When we entered the room, we saw that there was no water left. When we reported it to the reception, they brought water. On the second day, there was no water left again. When we reported it to the reception, they said 'Service was provided at the first entrance, but we had to pay for water on the following days'. It was very unprofessional and cheapened the whole ambience.

Villa Maria Restaurant was a dreamy experience. The view was amazing. Rolling hills of lemon trees and mansions above and the sea in the background. Went in the last week in August. Was scorching day, but coming here made it worth it. Service was great. I liked that there was a vegan option. What a great lunch for a special day which was my birthday. You have to come here to take in the beautiful view. The restaurant itself is quite romantic—the view makes it even better. Helpful staff and welcoming. Would love to come back.

Vinimos para un almuerzo ligero en este hermoso entorno, buena comida, personal amable y servicial. Solo comimos ensaladas y panini, pero nos hicieron tan bienvenidos como los que tienen comidas más sustanciales.

26/01/2025: It's just how you remember it. Snow alley is back. One of the most typical places in Salerno. Pizzas, fillings, typical dishes. Everything screams Salerno-ness. I ate the mallone (broccoli sautéed with potatoes) with the pezzentella (typical Cilento sausage), the Cinquetto (stuffed with pizza dough with salami, eggs, provola and pepper), an amaro and a scazzetta (the typical cake from the Pantaleone pastry shop ). In total I spent €34.
24/01/2025: Antica pizzeria/ trattoria salernitana riaperta gia da un bel po’ . Bravi , siamo stati bene. Clima cordiale, personale gentile, prezzi giusti, in una location tradizionale e ‘storica’ . Consigliamo polpo di Massa (ottimo), mallone e pizza del vicolo . I dolci sono della pasticceria salernitana del centro storico. Da ritornarci .

02/02/2025: Superlativi i piatti di Fulvio! Dagli antipasti al dolce, è tutto impeccabile. Gli antipasti sono ricchi di ogni sfizioseria: frittatine di cipolle, scarola con olive, cicoria e fagioli, patate e peperoni fritti, broccoletti in umido, prosciutto, mozzarella e tant'altro!! Per non parlare dei primi piatti, mi è sempre molto difficile scegliere... Consiglio vivamente questo locale! Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo.
26/01/2025: Well known restaurant in the area. I was there before the summer and I was very struck by the authenticity of the products and the friendliness and friendliness of the owners and staff. I decided to return to celebrate my 40th birthday with my family. Endless appetizer, with top-quality cold cuts, accompanied by morsels and high-quality ricotta, onion, potato and pepper omelette, cabbage and broccoli, crostini with tomatoes and exceptional colonnata lard. Then we enjoyed three tastings of first courses, all delicious: Pasta and potatoes with provola, Ravioli with pumpkin cream and salted ricotta and lasagna in the Neapolitan version with hard-boiled egg. We were all very full, but the owner suggested a small sample of mixed pork and beef as a second course and it melted in your mouth. What can I say, super satisfied with the food and the environment and the service. Super recommended.
