Hard to put into words, how incredible this place was. when your able to take a break from the views the food is delicious and nicely presented. The Spritz was refreshing and the staff were friendly and the service was good.

Villa Maria is located quite high up in the village of Ravello so one would have thought that the rooms would have plenty of light and magnificent views. We had to view 6 rooms prior to settling on one that had a window and didn’t feel like a parking garage with no natural light. Breakfast has a very limited choice of food and till 10am even on a Sunday . Taking into account that the location is known for weddings, one would have thought that the hotel would have a later breakfast window , at least on the weekends when people might want to sleep in.

Excellent restaurant even for vegetarians. Looks like it’s going to be expensive but in reality is reasonable prices especially for the view / service and high quality food. I would love to come back and stay in the hotel!

Incredible view from the terrace. Professional service and reduced-price “snack” cards between noon and 5 p.m. A beautiful place to rest before going to the gardens of Villa Cimbrone!

Sublime dinner. Lovely place. Service with waiter ready to serve the table. 5 star service. 10/10 culinary experience. Film music. Very romantic. Super recommended.

Location molto bella, essendo un hotel a 4 stelle ci aspettavamo un ristorante con altrettante stelle e con prezzi alti, forse però, per come si mangia, sono un po’ troppo alti. Cibo buono ma non è coerente con i prezzi. Mangi con tavolo pieno di moscerini che volano in piatti e bicchieri, tanto che non siamo stati i soli a chiedere di cambiare tavolo nella speranza che ce ne fossero meno. Camerieri gentili e preparati. Prezzi: per un antipasto a mezzo, due primi, due bottiglie di acqua, una di vino (da 30/35€ più o meno) e due caffè abbiamo speso 150€.

I only tried the restaurant but the view is great, the cuisine original and delicious but above all the exceptional service, the best we have received in Italy! Grazie!

'A Puteca d' 'o Munaciello

05/05/2024: Ristonte grazioso in un paese molto tranquillo, personale gentilissimo e veloce. I crocchè sono fatti da loro: buonissimi. Il brasato si tagliava con la forchetta e le pizze erano buone. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo.
17/03/2024: Personale gentile, cucina casereccia, ricette della cucina regionale e locale ben preparate. Consiglio antipasto della casa e primi, non sono riuscita a gustare i secondi ma la preparazione in forno a legna promette bene. Dolce mandorlato al cioccolato super. Anche pizzeria dovrò tornare per provarle. Unico consiglio curare di più i tempi, le attese sono un pochino lunghe.

01/09/2024: We went to this place the other evening, the chirping wasn't bad. We ordered the split aubergines, a miserable portion for the cost, not to mention the portion of chips, shameful for the quantity not related to the price. From the typical Salerno restaurant that it was, for us it is no longer the snow alley.
