We tried this restaurant for authentic southern food of Salerno! We loved it the food was delicious 😋 Pasta with potato 10/10 Broccoli with potato 10/10 Baked fish 10/10 parmigiana 10/10 I recommend going to this restaurant of you want to have something special.

I've been to this place a couple of times, on two consecutive days. I found some dishes very successful, for example the Genoese, the pasta and beans, and the mallone (spectacular!!!), others less so. The cellar is spectacular, and the prices are more than fair. I'm sure that little by little the kids will improve. I'll be back for the pizza.

From the first step, you are surrounded by a welcoming and warm atmosphere, where every detail is taken care of down to the smallest detail. Here you feel at home, but with that pleasant feeling of celebration that arises thanks to the friendly and attentive staff. The food is simply outstanding! Each dish is prepared with love, the flavors are perfectly balanced and you want to try the whole menu. The ingredients are very fresh, the portions generous and the presentation always impeccable. Another strong point is comfort: it is the ideal place to relax, enjoy company and enjoy excellent dishes without rushing. And the best thing? The prices are really honest, especially considering the very high quality! I have already been there several times and each time I am more and more convinced: this restaurant is my favourite. I don’t know why I was expecting something much nicer, not that the food wasn’t nice, it was, but portions were small to my taste. It’s an historical place and I recommend you go for the daily menu, as it is the freshest option and they change it on a daily basis. Famous for the pasta e fagioli ( beans pasta). Best cakes from Pantaleone, ancient pastry place in the old town.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who finds themselves in Salerno. Excellent traditional cuisine, very kind staff, a refined and fascinating environment in its historicity. Don't miss the buttered pepper, the potato and lard tagliatelle, the golden and fried anchovies. Well done!!

It's just how you remember it. Snow alley is back. One of the most typical places in Salerno. Pizzas, fillings, typical dishes. Everything screams Salerno-ness. I ate the mallone (broccoli sautéed with potatoes) with the pezzentella (typical Cilento sausage), the Cinquetto (stuffed with pizza dough with salami, eggs, provola and pepper), an amaro and a scazzetta (the typical cake from the Pantaleone pastry shop ). In total I spent €34.

Antica pizzeria/ trattoria salernitana riaperta gia da un bel po’ . Bravi , siamo stati bene. Clima cordiale, personale gentile, prezzi giusti, in una location tradizionale e ‘storica’ . Consigliamo polpo di Massa (ottimo), mallone e pizza del vicolo . I dolci sono della pasticceria salernitana del centro storico. Da ritornarci .

Alcuni piatti sono buoni e saporiti come la pasta e fagioli e il baccalà, meno le polpette, con troppi pinoli , piuttosto dure e dal sapore strano, la pasta alla genovese buona, ma non si può pagare 14 euro ed avere una porzione minima, con poca pasta e pochissimo condimento, servito in una mini zuppiera molto carina ma che maschera la porzione esigua. Personale gentile, posto pulito, che ha un po' cancellato la sua storia di ritrovo dei poeti ed artisti di una Salerno che fu. Rapporto qualità prezzo ingiusto rispetto alle porzioni.
