Excellent, to be repeated!
My family and I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and we were all happy.
The staff at the restaurant were kind and friendly, a real gem: when ordering drinks they whispered if the children wanted drinks. A small note much appreciated.
The delicious food, from the fried Genoese, the squid with potatoes something wonderful, it melted in your mouth. I couldn't take any photos because the kids pounced. We will definitely be back, if you are in Salerno go there!

Nice atmosphere and probably one of the few serving food before 8pm in Salerno. Good selection of local cucina dishes and pizzas. Also the wines weren't bad. Anyway we had problems with food. The starters were cold and also the baccalá, I really don't understand why? Unless the food wasn't fresh!

Absolutely fantastic. They were fully booked on Saturday night but the front desk person was so friendly and helpful and got us a table for the last seating. The food was spectacular as was the service. Their pizza, roast lamb chops, squid with peas dishes were particularly memorable. Even though we were tourists and most of their clientele were local Italians they treated us so well, even checking in several times to ensure we were happy with the food etc. As we left we made reservations for the next night — the first time we have ever done that when travelling!

Compared to the past, it has lost the magic of the Trattoria, now it is a more refined restaurant. Everything is very good and we have noticed, in contrast with other places, costs that are not exorbitant. Pasta and Beans Good, Pizza in my opinion exceptional.. The Parmigiana of the past is missing but an excellent product is still offered. I would say everything is very good. We will return.

Very good food, we weren't too hungry and we took a set of side dishes and appetizers and a buffalo margherita, the latter very good, the dough not at all heavy. The service was very fast, we ordered and dined immediately

Congratulations to the guys who managed to revive this historic Salerno restaurant! Quality food, simple but excellent dishes. Perfect welcome and service. I will happily return.

I've been to this place a couple of times, on two consecutive days. I found some dishes very successful, for example the Genoese, the pasta and beans, and the mallone (spectacular!!!), others less so. The cellar is spectacular, and the prices are more than fair. I'm sure that little by little the kids will improve. I'll be back for the pizza.

Antica pizzeria/ trattoria salernitana riaperta gia da un bel po’ .
Bravi , siamo stati bene. Clima cordiale, personale gentile, prezzi giusti, in una location tradizionale e ‘storica’ . Consigliamo polpo di Massa (ottimo), mallone e pizza del vicolo . I dolci sono della pasticceria salernitana del centro storico. Da ritornarci .

Alcuni piatti sono buoni e saporiti come la pasta e fagioli e il baccalà, meno le polpette, con troppi pinoli , piuttosto dure e dal sapore strano, la pasta alla genovese buona, ma non si può pagare 14 euro ed avere una porzione minima, con poca pasta e pochissimo condimento, servito in una mini zuppiera molto carina ma che maschera la porzione esigua. Personale gentile, posto pulito, che ha un po' cancellato la sua storia di ritrovo dei poeti ed artisti di una Salerno che fu. Rapporto qualità prezzo ingiusto rispetto alle porzioni.
