It's just how you remember it. Snow alley is back. One of the most typical places in Salerno. Pizzas, fillings, typical dishes. Everything screams Salerno-ness. I ate the mallone (broccoli sautéed with potatoes) with the pezzentella (typical Cilento sausage), the Cinquetto (stuffed with pizza dough with salami, eggs, provola and pepper), an amaro and a scazzetta (the typical cake from the Pantaleone pastry shop ).

Typical trattoria/pizzeria in old Salerno. Here they don't make nouvelle cousine but typical traditional dishes. Few types of pizzas but made and seasoned well. Low prices and friendly staff
I came back after 6 years and I have to take back my old opinion. Now it's completely the opposite of what I wrote. They renovated the place but the rest has gotten worse. I won't go back again, you are free to try 👎🤣

Alcuni piatti sono buoni e saporiti come la pasta e fagioli e il baccalà, meno le polpette, con troppi pinoli , piuttosto dure e dal sapore strano, la pasta alla genovese buona, ma non si può pagare 14 euro ed avere una porzione minima, con poca pasta e pochissimo condimento, servito in una mini zuppiera molto carina ma che maschera la porzione esigua. Personale gentile, posto pulito, che ha un po' cancellato la sua storia di ritrovo dei poeti ed artisti di una Salerno che fu. Rapporto qualità prezzo ingiusto rispetto alle porzioni.
