If you're looking for a real Italian restaurant in the heart of the old town (you can only walk there!), with enthusiastic staff and, above all, delicious authentic food, this is the place to go! It can get quite chaotic, though, as people constantly arrive, and then another table is simply added between the existing ones. Even at 10:30 p.m., Italian families still arrive. A wonderful experience!

This is a historic pizzeria and trattoria serving Salerno cuisine. After various ups and downs, it has been revived and splendor restored in recent years thanks to the initiative of young Salerno entrepreneurs. The restaurant has been completely renovated, highlighting the building's age. The kitchen is run by a young staff who faithfully recreate the authentic flavors of Salerno cuisine, perhaps passed down from their grandmothers and mothers. The menu alternates between pasta and pizza. Highlights include the gilded and fried anchovies, meatballs in tomato sauce, eggplant meatballs, parmigiana, linguine with mussels and frigiitelli, and a huge, flavorful calzone filled with escarole seasoned Salerno-style. The wine list is good. Service is prompt, attentive, and friendly. Prices are in line with the high quality of the raw seafood used. Recommended for those who want to sample authentic local cuisine.

Typical and traditional, authentic and sincere experience

One of the oldest restaurants in Salerno, recently renovated and run by talented and enterprising people. They've maintained traditional dishes while innovating with new dishes and small changes. Everything is truly excellent. The Genovese is delicious, and the meatballs are a must. Highly recommended.

The food is excellent. The calzone with escarole, anchovies, capers, and olives, the pasta and beans cooked in a wood-fired oven, the typical Salerno dishes are fantastic.

Ristorante di cucina tipica napoletana, senza infamia e senza lode. Antipasti nella media - mozzarella e parmigiana - nulla di speciale e di eccezionale. Stesso discorso delle cozze, sciapine. Rivedibile.
