Vesuvio 3 In Melendugno

Highly recommended; we ate there twice within three days. Very tasty. For pizza lovers, there's a meter-long pizza.

Dinner at Vesuvio 3 was very good – the pizza in particular was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, despite the large crowd. One small negative: the noise inside was quite high, making the atmosphere a bit chaotic. But that’s understandable when the restaurant is full. Overall, a positive experience.

A very good restaurant, with many delicious dishes, including pizza from the wood-fired oven. Locals love to eat here, which speaks volumes about the Vesuvio 3. Located just outside Torre dell' Orso, it's easy to reach and has plenty of parking. Take the coastal road south towards Otranto for 3 kilometers, then turn right at the first traffic light and continue for about 200 meters. We haven't found similar restaurants of this quality in the town itself. The overall ambiance also seems very well-maintained, and in the summer, there's a separate pool, which is interesting. We were there in May 2025. Highly recommended. One of the waitresses (Fernanda) also speaks German. Thank you for your advice. ;-))))

Great food and good price. Only the service has some flaws, you are not always considered

Good pizzas but nothing special, the other courses were poor, slow service not to mention the wait to sit at the table (with the entire reservation) and for the arrival of the courses, nice environment

For years we have visited this restaurant during our vacation. The space it self lacks a bit of warmth but the staff working there make up for it. Nothing is too much and they are always very friendly. We also adore the pizza’s here.

I often come to this restaurant and I have always had pizza served by the meter with truly competitive prices. I recommend booking if it's on the weekend, otherwise you'll have to wait with a lot of organization. Today, however, compared to previous times, we had desserts at the end of the meal, regretting it bitterly. They are not present on the menu, the waiter came directly to the table with a large plate where all the desserts were present, we chose a lemon semifreddo and a hazelnut semifreddo and some profiteroles, beyond the aesthetic aspect the flavor was too sweet, industrial...basically just cream and the price is 5 euros each, really a lot for a product passed off as the house dessert, a few km away in a famous pastry shop they sell single portions of cake of different flavors and varieties and above all quality at 4 euro!

Very elegant location .very beautiful .service? Quick, precise, polite and friendly, they don't know you but it seems like you've always been oiled and everything is done with the utmost respect. Food? Specialty pizza by the metre, really good and light. Very quick to bring it to you. The dessert menu is fantastic, a plate with all the types of desserts they have and in the portion they will bring you. Furthermore, very good. You understand how you will be treated as soon as you park. The very friendly valet, of course the parking costs you 1 euro, but you are in a tourist location and you know that no one will touch your car. Let's move on to the price, I was shocked. I spent as much as I would have spent on my own in other places with pizza, fresh water and coffee. Congratulations. And if I ever come back to these parts I won't fail to stop by
