A beautiful and welcoming place, with talented and highly professional staff, and a perfect concept: light and tasty pizza, excellent fried foods, and fast, friendly service. It's a winning choice in Salerno, thanks to the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a try and a return visit.

17/12/2025: GREAT PIZZA ! My wife and I had just arrived in Salerno, Italy after a very exhausting series of plane flights beginning in California. After cleaning up and a change of clothes in our rental apartment we headed out to find good food at 9pm at night in a strange city. Salerno was a pretty lively city at night we soon discovered as we walked along Corso Vittorio Emanuele...a very long pedestrian mall. We saw a few places of interest....pizza was not on our list this late at night. PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA ! Then we began to realize that pizza was a very big deal in Salerno with pizza restaurants everywhere. We chose this brightly lit pizzeria because it didn't looked very crowded inside. A friendly male server named Umberto beckoned us to sit at a table when we walked inside at 9.20pm. HARD TO BELIEVE ! I honestly couldn't remember dining out this late at night in my life. First up Umberto brought us menus and glasses of water. I ordered a beer...a Birrium IPA. We checked out the menu.....lots and lots of pizza but no pasta. My Birrium IPA arrived and tasted fine for a sub 6% abv IPA. ITALIAN ONLY MENU ! We ran into this a lot particularly in Italy and Umberto's very limited command of English was not going to be of help. We ordered 1 x VALLE D'AOSTA Regional Pizza to share on 2 plates....I really couldn't tell you all the ingredients. VERY HUNGRY ! Because they served Neapolitan thin crust pizza we expected our pizza to hit the table within 5 minutes max. WAIT WAIT WAIT ! After 10 minutes went by I wondered where was our pizza... after 20 minutes elapsed I pulled up Umberto who said it's coming. FINALLY ! At 9.59pm ( 30 minutes after we ordered it ) our Valle d'Aosta Pizza divided on 2 plates arrived. We asked Umberto for some grated parmigiano and chili flakes. NO PROB ! Let me tell you the pizza looked very good and it tasted even better. ONE OF THE BEST ! In fact my pizza photo on Instagram was tagged by one of my friends...a Michelin rated chef from California who said..That looks delicious ! DESSERT ! They had a very limited dessert menu...one flavor of gelato and a cheesecake. We went with the Cheesecake which came with enormous drizzles of Pistachio Cream....probably a bit too much ! It tasted pretty decent. Apparently Pizzium is pretty big in Italy with over 50 locations. We liked it here but not enough to come back !
