T/Terra In Genova

Great place!! Super welcoming, friendly staff and great food for little money. Really good 👏🏼

Ate dinner early and were the first customers. The person serving us (owner?) was not really in a mood of trying explain the menu in English (I was trying to be as helpful as I could with my ”cuisine/food” Italian). The waitress who apperared as we were leaving seemed much more accommodating. Shame, as the food we managed to order was really delicious and authentic. As a foodie I would loved to have learnt more about Genovese food. Great place for those who speak Italian.

This adorable place is a little tricky to find...when your map gps tells you that you've arrived, keep walking across the street and look down over the wall and it's there, down the steps. The owner/chef has a hand written daily menu and son Nicolo proudly translates it for you. We shared 3 plates and each was more impressive than the last. The focaccia w gorgonzola & prosciutto, then ravioli stuffed w spinach, followed w another ravioli w ricotta (I may have some descriptions incorrect). Each plate was simply superb and all were no more than 7€ each. Almost forgot the tiramisu, my goodness! I really cringe at the term "hidden gem" but this is the definition of it! An absolute must visit when you're in Genova! You're welcome, Ciao

Simply fantastic simply a trattoria from times gone by like you can't find anymore... (The prices are also from times gone by) Homemade and genuine cuisine, friendliness and courtesy, typical local cuisine. We eat typical food from the appetizer to the ammazzacaffè... Thanks for the experience I hope to return and find you like this again...

Slightly Spartan place, but these are the places where you eat well, one of the few traditional trattorias that can be found in Genoa! Very kind staff and delicious food!

A small secluded restaurant with wonderful staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The operator doesn't know much about AJ, but that doesn't matter at all, with a few well-chosen Italian words you'll get what you want. A really great experience for me

I never exaggerate... but kind, excellent and generous portions and a creative environment, make this restaurant a port of originality, making it one of my favourites, a restaurant for artists, wanderers of atmospheres, quiet and particularity accompany you in an evening with subdued but warm colours.....the starters, gnocchi with caccio e pepe....all good and simple.....then figeu we are in Zena.....but unbeatable price.... one word BRAVI.
