We came here today for Christmas lunch. The food was delicious, the food excellent and authentic, and the staff very friendly. We recommend this place to anyone passing through.

I read some reviews about the rude staff, and after being there, I'm happy to say they weren't true. The staff was very kind; they even offered us a local liqueur. As for the food, we had the typical appetizer—tortel—and the packets for the main course. Everything was very plentiful and delicious. The three of us paid about €23 each.

Trattoria Castelbarco Avio

08/03/2026: We stopped for lunch after visiting Avio Castle. The restaurant was busy, but the manager asked us to wait because there was a chance some tables would become available soon, and so it was. The service was quick and courteous, the menu offered verbally featured local dishes, and what we ordered far exceeded our expectations, and the bill was perfectly in line with what we ate and drank.
18/01/2026: Four of us had lunch on Sunday at noon. Two first courses and two second courses. The first courses were really good; the pork shank was excellent, as were the potatoes and cabbage. It's a shame the only dessert was strudel. The food was good and the price was more than fair. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for everything. Ivana

Ritorante e Bar della Malga Basson di Sotto

28/08/2025: Unique place! Cold cuts, cheeses, polenta... everything was top-notch! Served and revered by a brilliant waiter. I'm not sure if the two guys are brothers, but they're certainly among the best in their roles. Highly recommended!
