Cozy place, a little cold in winter, good food but not a great choice, slightly high prices.

We ate very well in this restaurant. The staff is super courteous and the service was fast, precise and friendly. maybe the bill is a little high for a restaurant but all in all it's okay.

Excellent restaurant with friendly service. The request for an option with a vegan dish (polenta with seasonal vegetables) was accepted without any problem during the booking phase and the suggestion to add a legume cream present in the classic menu was possible without any problems. Very helpful staff, highly recommended

Passing through this beautiful town in the Vigezzo valley, exactly in RE (VB) where by chance we came across this wonderful, very characteristic trattoria which is located on the road in a small recess where we then find ourselves in front of the very famous sanctuary of the Madonna del blood. In a very welcoming environment on two floors, very romantic and familiar. We went in for lunch with a small dog in tow, there were no problems, we hadn't booked and I'd say we were very lucky to find a seat because it's a very popular restaurant. My advice is to book in advance especially on holidays or special occasions. We had lunch in a beautiful and simple room on the upper floor with a fresco on the ceiling and a choice of particular paintings hanging on the walls, a place that was definitely apt for us. Very kind staff who gave us good advice on what to enjoy that day, we chose the menu of the day. I took a platter of cold cuts with local cheeses, Barolo risotto with ricotta nuts, braised meat with polenta, some good house red wine in bulk and chocolate cake and finally the gentianella liqueur, delicious. If you pass by, make a stop, highly recommended, we will be back.
