Trattoria Pizzeria L'Arca Di Epifanio Fabio In Tropea

After looking for a well-rated pizzeria in Tropéa we came across Arca and frankly we were not disappointed! Crispy and soft pasta inside, well filled! The service is fast and the servers are not rude.

Excellent quality/price ratio. The location is nice, located in a street in the center of Tropea. We ordered a pizza and a typical Calabrian dish that was recommended to us: the pizza was very good, the dough was soft; The nduja was VERY GOOD: tasty, just the right amount of spiciness. Excellent service; very kind and welcoming. We went to dinner at this restaurant after a nice downpour: despite the wet tables (available only outside), the staff worked quickly to give us adequate accommodation. Thanks to Antonio and Fabio. We ate here two evenings in a row. The first evening we had pasta and the second evening we had pizza. The food was really very tasty, great service. The prices are completely okay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in this family run restaurant. Their mother had cooked her famous pasta dish and it was recommended to me. I loved it! It was homemade, with tagliatelle cooked inside an aubergine (melanzane) with tomato/meat sauce and cooked in the oven-fabulous! My husband had the carbonara which was delicious too. The wines were reasonably priced, the food was delicious and the Tropeana salad was full of flavour too. Definitely worth stopping off and “complimenti alla mamma! “

Nice Calabrian food experience. Courtesy and hospitality. Excellent quality/price ratio. We would return if we were still in Tropea. But I recommend it to you.

Wir waren mit Freunden dort, freundlicher Service, der uns einen Tisch extra umgestellt hatte, damit wir alle bequem draussen sitzen können. Hauswein top, Essen lecker, schönes Restaurant.

È una vera trattoria che vanta anni di ristorazione. Mi sono imbattuto in questo carinissimo locale con la mia ragazza, all’inizio colpiti dalla semplicità estetica che lo contraddistingue e successivamente dalla cordialità del personale. La titolare è una signora anziana che accoglie gli ospiti come farebbe una donna e nonna di altri tempi con i propri nipoti sulla porta di casa, una volta dentro, cerca di farti assaggiare un po di tutto della sua vasta conoscenza culinaria nel più breve tempo possibile arricchendoti il palato di emozioni e facendo rivivere il sapore della vecchia cucina Calabrese. Rimango allibito dalle recensioni che leggo su questo locale, forse quelle 4 persone che si trovano male (ci saranno sempre e ovunque) recensiscono e le 100 che mangiano da dio, come ci ho mangiato io, non mettono alcuna recensione… questa è l’unica spiegazione che sono riuscito a darmi! Cibo ottimo, rapporto qualità-prezzo ottima, rispecchia la vera cucina tipica calabrese! Che dire?! Andateci e non ve ne pentirete… PAROLA DI UN GIROVAGO DELLA BUONA CUCINA!
