Trattoria da Peppe dal 1985 In Napoli

This is the famous trattoria with home-style food you've always been looking for. The ladies in the kitchen know their stuff, and the waitress was the sweetest and most patient person I've ever met. Everything was delicious! My pork rind roll was a delight. The cod with cabbage and the gnocchi alla Sorrentina were equally delicious. It's a far cry from the burgers at those restaurants thronging Vomero. Give me a break. This is Naples!

A family-run trattoria serving traditional Neapolitan cuisine. The menu offers a limited selection that changes regularly, as befits a trattoria serving traditional cuisine. The food is excellent, as is the service and ambience.

Today for lunch we went to Trattoria da Peppe, where we had an appetizer for two consisting of fried polenta, arancini, pasta crescenti, and crocche'; the portions were just right and we enjoyed them. We followed them with two first courses, specifically "Lo scarpariello": good. We finished with two slices of lemon caprese (very good and authentic) accompanied by an excellent limoncello! Conclusion: I recommend it!
