Trattoria Ai Due Dottori In

The environment is very reminiscent of sushi restaurants, with blinds and lots of plastic on your head. I had booked the day before but when we showed up we weren't on the booking list. The awkward and sullen staff, not knowing how to resolve the matter, called the room manager who placed us in a place chosen by him without leaving us the possibility of choosing. At the end of dinner, at the checkout the owner asked me how dinner went and I told her: more or less! She didn't ask for any explanation and cashed out. I can't say that the quality of the food offered was bad but I believe that before the dishes, attention must be paid to the care of the customer who expects to be welcomed with education and perhaps even with a smile.

Dishes served well, medium-high quality. Too bad for the environment, tables too crowded which led to several physical contacts with the super busy waiters. With this mix-up the prices are a little high.

The food is good and of good quality, although nothing exceptional. we opted for the pizza menu. The waiter who took the orders was friendly and quick, but they got lost in the service after that. As a treat we ordered some edamami, which by mistake were brought to another table, when they realized it they took them away rudely, almost scolding them for having eaten them. Once we finished eating the pizza, we were eating them waiting for a spritz to accompany them, but they took them away while I still had the pod in my hand, so we had nothing to accompany the spritz with; when we pointed this out to them and asked them not to bring the spritz anymore, we were told in a rather rude manner: "And no, if they've started preparing it, I'll bring it to you." Considering quality, price and service I don't think I will return.

Excellent fish at very honest prices. Modern location, but not vulgar. I would come there at least once a month if I lived permanently in Manfredonia.

Professionalism, seriousness and competence are the pillars for this excellent restaurant and pizzeria. Excellent and plentiful dishes, excellent service. Possibility of access also to our 4-legged friends, with a unique menu for them, appreciated and consumed in a flash. Excellent price/quality ratio

Il ristorante pare dare un messaggio di apparente eleganza, le portate sono buone e anche le materie prime. Servizio un po' da rivedere. Nel complesso bene!

The place is welcoming and elegant, well air conditioned. The restaurant service is certainly more than good, both for the variety of dishes and for the cuisine. The pizzeria service is a little less expensive due to waiting times, especially on Saturdays.

Sono stata a pranzo Domenica 23 Maggio, il posto è molto bello, ben curato e il cibo buono, qualità prezzo giustissimo. Il sorbetto è stato fantastico. L’unico appunto che posso fare, ma per consiglio, è il servizio. purtroppo è da migliorare, pane buttato a tavola, vino versato malissimo…diciamo che un po di attenzione in più non guasterebbe, per il resto tutto molto bene!! Ritornerò sicuramente..

We discovered, thanks to Google, "Ai due Dottori", a very well-kept location overlooking the small port of the Marina di Manfredonia. The surrounding area, apart from the waterfront, has the appearance of an industrial area (obviously), but the restaurant appeared before our eyes in its lush beauty immediately after crossing the threshold. An almost fairy-tale place! The ceiling is full of hanging plants, even if they are made of plastic, which are still pleasing to the eye. An elegant and sober appliance; well-executed cuisine with satisfying portions. The service was attentive, but could be improved. The bathrooms are spotless and equipped with everything necessary for hygiene (even a dispenser with mouthwash with disposable eco glasses). The light breeze made our stop even more pleasant.
