"Trattoria a me casa" (literally, "Trattoria at my house"), the name truly reflects the reality: the restaurant, even just physically, evokes traditional "home cooking," with meticulous attention to detail and a breathtaking view to enjoy while dining at your table, in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, perfect for this Christmas season and beyond. My husband and I chose this place to spend a day as a couple enjoying good food, and we were completely satisfied. Each course was unique and delicious, thanks both to the aesthetics of the plates and, above all, the flavor of each ingredient (enhanced by chef Elena), which brought us back to our traditions. The portions were also perfect, allowing us to sample everything without having to sacrifice anything (a detail not to be underestimated considering today's mass-produced cuisine). It was also a pleasure to be served by Giuseppe, who was ready to accommodate our every request, making everything even more enjoyable with his banter. I like to attach photos to really convey what I'm talking about, and I hope you all can go at least once to try it and believe it. And what can I say: thanks to all the staff at the trattoria and to me at home, hoping to see you again soon.

If you're looking for substance, authentic flavors, and a warm welcome that makes you feel part of the family, then you've found a treasure. As soon as you step inside, you're overwhelmed by the aroma of soffritto and sauce simmering in the kitchen. ​

Excellent Calabrian cuisine. Giuseppe is a wonderful host; we thoroughly enjoyed the menu! The menu was more than sufficient, and the house red wine was delicious! We'll definitely be back! Reservations are recommended!

We organized my daughter's graduation... we had a great time, lots of appetizers, delicious macaroni and the lasagna with pumpkin, gorgonzola and speck was truly exquisite... the grill was excellent but who could stand it anymore... Mr. Peppe and company are good people with such kindness, they never get bored... finally not a closed menu but the possibility of being able to choose, we will be back soon, rating 10

Fantastic little place with a fantastic view, a very friendly and approachable host, homemade, authentic cuisine using locally sourced produce, and generous, flavorful dishes...what can I say!!!! It's a shame we didn't discover it sooner!

I can only give 5 stars to everything! From the phone call to book (recommended), the gentleman was kind and helpful! Soft lighting, a view of the Strait, an intimate and familiar atmosphere, and excellent food! We couldn't have asked for more.

FANTASTIC This trattoria is small, in the middle of nowhere, and is exactly what you need for a quiet meal on vacation. Incredibly delicious food, generous portions, and a breathtaking view. I've never eaten so well in a trattoria. P.S.: Book in advance, it's always full 😁

We discovered it by chance, looking for a trattoria serving typical Calabrian dishes, and it was a wonderful revelation! An intimate atmosphere, a breathtaking view of the Strait, and excellent food! The owner is friendly and very nice. The menu price is absolutely worth the money; in fact, it's fair!

Every time I come to Reggio Calabria, it's a sure thing: excellent food, friendly staff, and a breathtaking view. I recommend it to everyone.
