05/07/2025: Noteworthy, the restaurant is not just about rice and meat (and fish for the bengali touch). This is how unfortunately other Indian/South Asian, let alone Bengali restaurants are. Uzzal excels at making delicious vegetarian food too. Try their Sorshe shaak and Dheros curry, start with a piyaji as snack! They cook some of the fish dishes with vegetables, which is quite remarkable and absolutely authentic. Edit: did get a food poisoning, most likely from the halim. Do I regret the choice? no.
