Thai - Orientale In Bolzano

I came here after seeing a recommendation on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). The owner was incredibly warm and friendly. The Thai shrimp fried rice I ordered was absolutely delicious, just as good as the street food I've had in Bangkok! For those who can handle spice, I recommend adding extra chili for an even better experience. The sweet, spicy, and sour flavors were perfectly balanced. The ingredients were fresh, and the portion size was generous. The fried rice was more than enough for one person, and I was even a little full. I wish the owner great success in their business, and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Bolzano!

I don't know if it's because of the fusion of local flavors, but all the dishes are very salty, sweet, and strong. I ordered Tom Yum Goong soup, Thai fried rice noodles, hot and sour soup, Japanese chicken rice, fried rice, and dumplings. Except for the fried rice, the others were not tasty.

A bit '80s-esque, but overall nice and clean. The owner is very friendly, but the grumpy waitresses make you feel uncomfortable! The food isn't bad, although I think there's too much sauce, which overwhelms the flavors a bit! Overall, the food isn't bad, and I'll definitely be back!

The best Chinese restaurant in Bolzano is the Thai Oriental, highly recommended!
