It was a themed evening featuring Lucanian wines from the Notaio winery in Rionero in Vulture, paired with traditional Lucanian dishes, all beautifully prepared. The appetizer, first course, and second course paired with three exceptional versions of Aglianico del Vulture, and a passito, with dessert, was simply delicious (but because I don't like sweet wines).

We came for lunch and ordered two business menus and a cazoeula.
The cazoeula was delicious.
The business menu, however, featured a good stew, but it was average for stews at local restaurants.
The staff was friendly and courteous.
I recommend it for lunch or dinner with friends.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
The prices were reasonable.

The owner was super helpful, offering us recommendations and explaining the local dishes.
The pizzoccheri were delicious; we happened upon them during the Cassoeula Festival, and we were able to sample this delicious traditional dish. Dinner was accompanied by an excellent local wine.
I'll definitely be back!
