Characteristic place, clean and nice not very big, but the tables are not sacrificed, friendly staff.
They do not have a menu card, they make a list verbally ... too bad.
The prices are displayed as soon as you enter on a blackboard, as you can see in the photo.
Very good the fact of being able to choose a land menu or a seafood menu
The courses are not abundant, but they are good ... a little full of oil (at least the ones we had)
All in all 4 stars are fine we did not spend a lot and in any case the food is good, the only flaw they brought us the first courses at different times so my wife or I waited for the other, the same for the second course.
I add that they are slow in serving and I remove the fourth star

The restaurant is located near our second home because I live in the province of Rome, when we are in Livorno we try to go there, very welcoming environment, very kind staff, excellent food.
The fish, seafood appetizers and especially the fried calamari and shrimp are delicious. Excellent quality / price, I recommend it.

Small typical Livorno trattoria very nice ... I have been there several times during the week for business lunch and it is always full ... you need to book! Vast menu of meat and fish, right portions and consistent prices ... The cuisine is typical Livorno!!! I highly recommend!!!

La Botteghina non delude mai.
Oltre che ai veri piatti della tradizione, trovi gentilezza, professionalità e uno degli ultimi a fare prezzi onesti.
In 5 abbiamo ordinato 3 antipasti, 2 primi, 5 secondi con 4 contorni, 1 dolce, acqua, bottiglia di vino e caffè per un tot 154euro.
Siamo stati benissimo come sempre e lo consiglio se si cerca semplicità a prezzi più che giusti.

Fabulous.
We were there on a lunch break, first courses of seafood, mixed fried fish, baçala Livorno style. Very fresh fish, cooked to perfection. The colleague took the Livorno-style cod and told me: "It's like my grandmother's!".
I said it all.
Typical retro style location, not too crowded, attentive and fast service.
Menu of the day or à la carte is offered.

Informal and very welcoming restaurant, you can taste many of the delicious Livorno specialties. We were invited by local friends and we will definitely be back. Excellent fish dishes and friendly staff.

Unique place, it's small so booking is mandatory but it's absolutely worth it! The cod with onions and the seafood carbonara are amazing, this place has remained in my heart, congratulations!
