At Taqueria Mamacita's you can taste excellent Mexican dishes! In addition to the menu with nachos, burritos, quesadillas and much more, all excellent and very appetizing, 'dishes of the day' are prepared every day, special recipes to try and of excellent quality. The truly special frozen margarita is the best to accompany spicy food! The place is very welcoming and colourful, the service is always kind, attentive and ready to explain the dishes and fulfill your requests. The do-it-yourself tacos and burritos (the portions are generous) also make dinner a moment of fun and conviviality. Personally I have tasted all their dishes and if I had to list the qualities of each one, one review wouldn't be enough! Go there several times! TLDR: GO HERE FOR AUTHENTIC DELICIOUS MEXICAN. YOU WILL HAVE A PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE. Atmosphere/service: The moment you walk in you are transported to Mexico with the beautiful decor of traditional Mexican tiles and alebrijes. The owner, Desirae is an incredibly kind woman who is attentive and savvy, leaving you plenty of space to enjoy your meal but it always available at exactly the right moment. She is also marvelously interesting so if not too busy I recommend learning about her background a bit, as i think it further enhances the food Food: fantastic. The passion from the owner Desirae and her abuela can be felt in every bite!! I worked at a Michelin rated Mexican restaurant and this food surpasses it. Amazing flavors, proper spice, large portions at exceedingly reasonable prices. Daily specials to die for. I had ribs cooked in a salsa verde that absolutely melted in my mouth. We tried one of every taco and each was better than the last. Don’t skip on the tres leches and cafe de olla (cinnamon sugar coffee)! These are hard to find in the states, let alone Italy! Margaritas are delicious, not too sweet, and strong but not too strong! Also has a small selection of tequila/mezcal and Mexican beers that really solidify the experience. If you are a Mexican food lover and you leave genoa without going to taqueria mamacita’s, you have done yourself a disservice.

Excellent cuisine. I would improve attention to hygiene, especially in the toilet area. Sauces should not be reused (even with the same spoons) between one table and another!

We arrived on a Sunday night, after 10:00 p.m. There was no other place open in the surrounding area (other than a kebab). When we asked if the kitchen was open, they said yes and served us with all the kindness in the world, insisting that we eat dinner without rushing even though it was late. The food was great and the price was great. Some burritos with tacos (warning, it's too much food for dinner so late) and drinking some margaritas. Everything great. I recommend it: good food and very friendly people!

came across this place whilst looking for a restaurant at early 10pm and they were so nice! the waiter was super friendly and gave great suggestions (including kindly telling us that we were ordering too much food and wouldn’t be able to finish it - he was right!) and spoke Italian, Spanish and English very well. the Chimichanga burrito was delicious, the margaritas were really nice and well priced, the Al Pastor taco was nice but was a hard shell taco which i didn’t expect and the chicken wings were pretty good too. the burrito and wings both came with rice, refried beans, and a salad which were also nice. will definitely be coming back here :)

Ok food, excellent margarita, friendly service. The cleanliness of the rooms needs to be improved. Also not the best - in such a small space - to use a very scented detergent to clean the tables, filling the place with chemical odor.

Authentic Mexican food!! So good. The chorizo taco, the chips and guacamole, the margaritas and THE CAFFE were all delicious! All served with patience for our lack of the local language.

In a not so top area of ​​central Genoa near the University of Economics there is a really top place where you can eat delicious, spicy food. We took the taco + burrito combo and were full, but there was room for a delicious cake with 3 different types of milk. Very small place, it is advisable to book but really characteristic. Friendly staff and fast service. We also tasted two dishes of the day, namely spicy meatballs (whoa, they were spicy) and another sort of burrito with a too complicated name but also delicious. We will be back to try the nachos. We spent €25 each
