Tandem Ragù is more than just a place for food. It is a space where human interaction and southern warmth come together naturally.
I recently started visiting new places by simply walking in and asking if I could use the restroom. It may sound unusual, but it gives me a real sense of how staff handle unexpected and authentic situations. At Tandem Ragù, the response was genuine and kind. That was enough for me to stay, and of course, I ordered something afterward.
I shared a bit of my personal background with Salvatore, and without hesitation, he proposed something different. He introduced me to 'A Livella, a beer crafted in Naples that reminds some of Guinness in style, but carries its own unique story. It is produced exclusively by Birrificio Maneba, a brewery that collaborates only with this brand.
As a creative chef, I am always open to discovering new products. Regardless of my personal taste preferences, I deeply appreciate the effort and identity behind locally made items.
Tandem Ragù is not only about what is on the menu. It is about how you are received and what you discover when you least expect it.

Having stayed at Vomero for 4 days I passed by this restaurant several times.
Specializing in ragù and Genovese, it immediately caught my attention (a Ligurian who sees the Genoese writing cannot help but taste it considering that "Genovese" doesn't exist in Genoa).
I took a bunch of bruschetta as an appetizer: mushroom aubergines, broccoli, ragù and Genovese. All very good, perhaps the one with the broccoli was a little cold but the two bruschettas with ragù and Genovese were truly superlative.
Followed by paccheri with Genoese: the pasta is nice and al dente and the sauce is abundant and creamy, the onion flavor is good and enveloping. The meat melted in your mouth.
A true ecstasy. I made the slipper by literally polishing the plate but in a place where the slipper is also offered as an appetizer I thought it was a nice compliment to the chef and the team who certainly will not have formalized the exception to what is required by etiquette.
It was my last dinner in Naples and I'm happy to have ended my Neapolitan dining experience with a bang!

Salvatore and Claudia were welcoming and very helpful in answering our questions and suggesting what to eat. The place is nice, quiet (far from the typical chaos of the historic center) and very close to metro line 1. The food however is really excellent, we liked everything we ate (starters, first courses, second courses and desserts). I recommend it because the kids are passionate and put their heart into it, but above all because the food is excellent

Super recommended! The place is welcoming, clean and quiet, perfect for those who want to stay away from the noise of the center's alleys but without going too far. The food is really excellent, the traditional dishes are tasty, of quality and also come in large quantities (but not excessive), in fact the quality-price ratio is excellent. The staff, run by young guys, is very kind, attentive to everything and ready to advise and carefully explain the house specialties. A special mention to Salvatore and Claudia, two super kind, helpful and at the same time professional guys☺️
We highly recommend going there!

Must visit! Great place with local Napoli food! Ragu Napoletana is not the same Ragu Bolognese, so it is sooo must try in Napoli! Cozy local place, friendly stuff and really huge portion! Highly recommended for all people who loves true local places❤️

For those like me who live in Naples, it has become difficult to find restaurants where you can appreciate traditional cuisine without losing the quality of the products. I have known Tandem since the days when I was a student away from home, but after years I can confirm that the quality standards are always respected! For those who want a Sunday with a traditional flavour, this is definitely the right place!

Restauracja jest mała, my akurat mieliśmy szczęście i weszliśmy prosto z ulicy. Obsługa bardzo profesjonalna i miła, doskonale porozumiewa się w języku angielskim. Zdecydowalismy się na świeże fusilli z sosem genovese oraz świeże gnocchi z ragu i serem provolone. Makarony świetne, podane al dente. Sos genovese doskonały w swojej prostocie - na plus, że przy zamówieniu kelner upewnił się, że wiemy jaki jest to sos (doskonale wiedzieliśmy czego chcemy :) ), ale jest to miłe, ponieważ nie wszystkim może on odpowiadać. Ragu również bardzo smaczne, świeże, dobrze doprawiony, jedynie mały minusik za ilość mięsa - w moim odczuciu mogłoby go być troszeczkę więcej. Świeże makarony w cenie ok 13euro. Są też zwykłe (chyba z paczki) w cenie ok 10euro - my uznaliśmy, że warto dopłacić i nie żałujemy decyzji. Dodatkowo do kazdego makaronu otrzymuje się w cenie małą miseczkę z dedykowanym serem do posypania. Piwo 0.66l w cenie 4,5euro - pozytywne zaskoczenie, ponieważ w innych miejscach płaciliśmy podobną kwotę za 0,4l. Jest to jedyna restauracja, w której skusiłem się na makaron więc nie mam porównania, ale wrażenia po wizycie są bardzo pozytywne i na pewno jeszcze tutaj wrócimy.

Non è proprio come la cucina tradizionale napoletana , ma ci si avvicina parecchio, quindi diciamo che è un pò fuori dai soliti schemi. Il personale (straniero) molto gentile e con ottima parlata italiana, conto un pizzico caro ma le porzioni sono molto abbondanti, cioè (per esempio) una sola parmigiana è bastata per 3 persone. Alla fine ci siamo fatti impacchettare il tanto cibo che avanzava e ci siamo deliziati tutto il giorno seguente. Sicuramente torneremo.
