Taj Mahal In Treviso

Great, authentic flavours at a super reasonable prices. After a week spent hiking in the Dolomites, my wife and I stopped in Treviso for lunch on our way back to Venice. The food in the Dolomites is good but I was really missing spices and this place totally filled that void. The food had amazing flavour with all the herbs and spices you want from south Asian cooking. The owner and his staff were also amazing. They apologized for the food being mild because they had to adjust to the local people and they even gave us a free salad because the food took a bit of time to make. Fresh delicious meal and for 2 mains, 2 appetizers and 2 drinks it was $30 - great value. I’ll be back if I ever find myself here again.

Don't be fooled by the exterior appearance. It's true, there's limited seating, the place is small, and it overlooks the street, but they pay great attention to the food. Everything is prepared in-house, and it shows; the flavors are excellent. The samosas and roti are excellent, the lamb tikka masala and chicken curry are delicious, and the quality of the rice is also evident. The dishes are undoubtedly superior to other Indian restaurants I've tried.

We absolutely loved this Indian restaurant, small understated menu ❤️ we had simosa absolutely stuffed with chicken and beef, then vegetable biryani lamb balti and a beef curry with bread. It was all exceptional banging with flavour. Would recommend this to everyone 🤩 enjoy ☺️

Had takeaway, but disappointed with options, not very authentic, bland lamb Balti, barely any lamb pieces,chicken palak was better but still bland, no naan available, roti was average. Unfortunately, there are not any other Indian options in Treviso, where restaurant quality and competition is high.

Everything was delicious!! From the appetizers to the main courses. Everything was delicious! The guy who took our order and served us was very kind and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat excellent Indian cuisine!

In the center of Treviso, excellent Indian restaurant, polite staff and very attentive to hygiene, recommended.

I have been here many times, and I have always had traditional dishes (tandoori, tikka masala etc…). I have always appreciated it because it manages to remind me of the flavors of India from a trip made a long time ago, of which I still have good memories. Generally the environment is not the best, but for the food it is definitely worth it!

Mega recommended place: The food is very good, the menu is very extensive, the staff is really courteous and friendly, all while spending little. We had a great time, we will definitely return, highly recommended💪🏻
