I had the opportunity to stay here on a motorcycle trip and it was well worth it. It's in a remote area so don't expect much outside entertainment but there's plenty to do. The views are beautiful, the rooms spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant was a welcome end to a day's riding. The attentive staff were very well versed on the cuisine which featured unique local fare and Nepente di Oliena wine. I found out too late that they had a museum which featured historical highlights, so that's another reason to return. Thank you for a great stay.

The location, service, rooms, and food are always top-notch. Unfortunately, the dinner was ruined by an extremely rude and unprofessional waitress. I have to say, this is the first time something like this has happened, and I've been going to this restaurant for 55 years... but that's precisely why it struck me.

15/11/2025: In a familiar yet elegant atmosphere, the Rifugio serves excellent quality food. This time we opted for a delicious artichoke and bottarga appetizer (one of the best bottarga I've ever eaten) and two pizzas, one with eggplant parmigiana and one with provola and porcini/Cardoncelli mushrooms, both very good. The service is courteous and attentive. We will definitely be back to try the restaurant!
10/11/2025: Excellent food, I highly recommend it. This was one of our favorite meals in Sardinia. (It was a little too brightly lit for me, but I think that’s because it’s more of a family restaurant than a romantic spot.)
