Solo da Manduca In Aprilia

Beautiful place, gorgeous counter, huge pastries (slightly priced), exceptional panettone... the only flaw: the creamy filling. It tastes like nothing, almost all cream, practically tasteless. That's really the only flaw because the rest of the pastry is excellent. So, if you order pastries, I recommend the chocolate ones (excellent quality) and the lobster ones for their thin, flaky pastry... but don't order the cream ones 😂

It's the best pastry shop in Rome and the surrounding area, it's the only place where we're sure to order a cake and receive it as we wish 😍 they are very professional and masters of decoration, if you choose Manduca you won't go wrong ❤️❤️❤️

Update: 11/2025 Preface: My review is based solely on the breakfast service. A very modern place, breakfast is good, but for a few months now, I've always found the croissants cold. It's too crowded on weekends, there's only one cash register, and you can wait in line for 10-20 minutes, then another 10-15 minutes for them to bring your breakfast to your table. I repeat, the desserts they make are delicious, but the line management has persisted for as long as I've known the place, and they don't try to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I got fed up and changed cafes a couple of weeks ago! The prices have also gone up; it feels like having breakfast in the center of Rome!

Modern atmosphere with excellent pastry shop.

An excellent bar where you can find genuine, top-quality products. It's no surprise there's always a line to get in on Sunday mornings.

Lots of stuff, plenty of sweets and a variety... Endless fresh sweets and also different alternatives. As usual, dry pastries a little less present 😊❤️
