A nice cafe with organized seating and a bit of a chilled atmosphere near Piazza de Ferrari.
I ordered 3 cold Americanos. Of course, these days they serve them as we're used to. However, they serve espresso and cold water in a glass with ice in a glass, and you pour it over the espresso.
Their desserts are very expensive.
As for the chocolate, the price is good.
I got 6 small chocolates, a tiramisu dessert, and a pistachio pudding, and the bill was 42 euros.

We were charmed by the terrace and wanted to have an aperitif there. We went to the entrance, and the waitress walked past us three times without looking at us. We said hello, but she never answered... we would have left, but we wanted our aperitif. We went in and asked the bartender, who told us to ask the waitress!
We had a clear mojito that looked like a can... at €8.50 a glass. The menu says it's served with appetizers and olives, but we didn't get anything, and neither did the other tables! Otherwise, the place is very pleasant.

The service Is sketchy. The location is perfect. The in house pastries are fantastic, the other food options are consistent. Overpriced, you are paying a premium for the location.

In the central Piazza Matteotti there could not fail to be a chic and high-level café. If you think you're going into a low quality bar, don't set foot in it, the prices are high but absolutely adequate for the quality. Table service is expensive (with prices practically doubled compared to the counter) but all this is written transparently at the cash register. It would be better in Piazza San Marco rather than in Genoa.

Many food options not available, already in the late morning. Waitress quite impolite, delayed and clearly not happy with requests like what food is available if you do not have focaccia. She preventitively said that they do not provide any vegetarian or vegan food, very kind of her to say it, maybe she hoped we would leave.
