Very good croissants... the coffee is not up to the price in my opinion, the service leaves much to be desired but... You're in Piazza Matteotti in Genoa!

While passing through Genoa on a trip, we stopped at this beautiful bar, located in a very central location just steps from Piazza de Ferrari and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. The atmosphere is very clean. We sat at the outdoor tables, which were well-shaded by umbrellas. We ordered gelato and a lemon caprese cake. The quality of both was excellent!!! We'll definitely be back!

I do not recommend! If you want to wait 30 minutes for your order to be taken, and then 20 minutes after your order has been taken, they will come up and ask what you ordered... Although the seating was 40%. Horrible! We sat for 50 minutes and still did not get an aperitif!

A coffee served at an outdoor table costs double what it costs at the counter inside. The vendor will inform you of this when you pay after drinking your coffee.

The price is higher than in other parts of Italy (Spezia or Florence), but the pastries and breakfast items we ordered were delicious. Highly recommended.
6 pastries cost about 20 euros.

A nice cafe with organized seating and a bit of a chilled atmosphere near Piazza de Ferrari.
I ordered 3 cold Americanos. Of course, these days they serve them as we're used to. However, they serve espresso and cold water in a glass with ice in a glass, and you pour it over the espresso.
Their desserts are very expensive.
As for the chocolate, the price is good.
I got 6 small chocolates, a tiramisu dessert, and a pistachio pudding, and the bill was 42 euros.

We were charmed by the terrace and wanted to have an aperitif there. We went to the entrance, and the waitress walked past us three times without looking at us. We said hello, but she never answered... we would have left, but we wanted our aperitif. We went in and asked the bartender, who told us to ask the waitress!
We had a clear mojito that looked like a can... at €8.50 a glass. The menu says it's served with appetizers and olives, but we didn't get anything, and neither did the other tables! Otherwise, the place is very pleasant.

The service Is sketchy. The location is perfect. The in house pastries are fantastic, the other food options are consistent. Overpriced, you are paying a premium for the location.
