Really high quality restaurant made me appreciate sushi.

Great, clean environment and delicious sushi

We tried this sushi restaurant, and I have nothing to complain about the quality of the dishes. We overlooked details like the fact that they forgot to bring drinks, various oversights by a novice waitress... We also left feeling quite happy for an evening that marked the end of a day full of places to visit, as we were passing through on vacation. Then, due to POS issues, we didn't even think about how much we spent. Looking back at the receipt, however, I feel like I was being deceived by a review that, trying to overlook so many things, would have given it 4 or 5 stars: three Cokes for 4 euros each, initially forgotten, then hastily served with a glass and a glass bottle of Coke alongside. For 4 euros, if you want to label yourself as a luxury place, ask if you'd like a glass with ice and lemon. There are two menu options (in short, the almost unlimited one for €31 + €2 cover charge and the one with four courses per person for €23 + €2 cover charge + €3 for each additional course after the first four). We chose the more expensive one, not knowing their dishes well or how filling they can be. Ultimately, the "cheaper" one was enough for the dishes we ordered, but that's understandable, it's not their fault, and we ended up spending more. Perhaps, however, out of fairness or courtesy, when we asked for two amaros, a limoncello, and an herb one, there were no discounts: the first course costs €4 and the second course €6. They're not obligatory, it's true, but in the context, between the higher costs and various service errors, a little courtesy was warranted. What was most annoying was that the receipt also included a sauce we requested, which wasn't brought. Given that there were many oversights throughout the evening that I haven't even mentioned, I find it quite disappointing that a waitress, no matter how inexperienced, remembered to notify the person taking orders and serving tables to add a sauce to the bill rather than bringing it to the table. I mean, we hadn't given it any thought and didn't ask for it again once it hadn't been brought, but the priority was given to adding the request to the bill rather than serving the customer.

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, and exceptional food! You absolutely have to try it!

A wonderful experience! We tried the Open Sushi menu, and there were so many dishes that, after only the second out of three, we were completely full. Besides the large quantity of food, the quality was also excellent: there were many classic sushi dishes, but also fusion creations prepared with such creativity and care. For example, we were very pleasantly surprised by the Carbonara Rolls. If you're looking for a sushi restaurant that stands out from the crowd, this is definitely the place.

We went for dinner and had a top-notch experience... Will we return? Whenever we want to feel good.

Shabu in Lecco was a fantastic discovery! 🍣 We chose Open Sushi, and every dish was carefully crafted and high-quality: from the rolls to the sashimi, to the special carbonara that won us over. 😍 We also really appreciated the variety of menus, designed for everyone.
