Fantastic dining experience with fresh local ingredients and exceptional service. They also have a wine cellar with a great selection. Highly recommended when visiting the Varenna area.

Excellent food, welcoming and excellent welcome (although the temporary scaffolding for work in progress takes away some of the charm). An authentic attention to many details that is rarely found. It doesn't have the formal characteristics of a Michelin guide (normally I only give 5 stars to those who would be a guide in my opinion) but, indeed, we were so satisfied, especially with the quality of the food, that we considered the maximum recognition as a minimum. A gem: they serve coffee with a mocha, a choice that I appreciated both for taste and ethics. Without sugar, you can taste the true flavor of the coffee — and here you can feel that it is made well. Only flaw: the table without tablecloth. For me it's important, but in this case (for this time :-)) I forgive it. Worth the visit, even with some discomfort. I will definitely return. Thank you

Absolutely delicious. Some of the best food I’ve had while in Italy. It is pricey but definitely worth it for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Also, they have an adorable cat. My boyfriend and I tried the fish and venison. Both were delicate and melt in your mouth. The pasta and risotto were also both phenomenal.

I'm really lucky that this wonderful place exists! The food is first class, with very local ingredients and perfectly coordinated. The menu changes regularly, depending on seasonal availability. The atmosphere is very cozy and the host and chef Carlo is very friendly and accommodating. I'd love to come back! 😄

Fantastic restaurant. Definitely recommend

When I think of this restaurant, I don't think about the delicious food we enjoyed, but rather the real main attraction: the cute cat! We were greeted at the entrance by this furry wonder - she sat there majestically and waited to enchant the guests with her charm. With her fluffy fur and big, curious eyes, she immediately stole into my heart. The scene was particularly cute when she curled up in a wooden box in front of the fireplace and slept peacefully. The image of this purring beauty making herself so comfortable there was simply priceless. So if you are looking for a place where you can not only enjoy delicious food but also have an unforgettable time with a fluffy cat, then this restaurant is for you. I can't wait to come back - not just for the food, but especially for the sweet cat who stole my heart!

L’accueil est chaleureux, avec un personnel attentif et souriant, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable.
