A hidden gem in Cannobio. Excellent cuisine; the quality and presentation were outstanding, and the service was very friendly. The interior is perhaps a bit too dark.

It's one of the lesser-visited places because it's not right on the lake, but the moment you walk upstairs to the restaurant, the feeling you get is like a scene from an old Italian movie—truly the best kind. Absolutely delicious, high-quality food. Also a good and extensive wine list. A bit pricey, though.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner together. Unfortunately, it seems a bit overrated. The ambiance is overly ambitious and creates expectations. The truffle pasta was unfortunately not salted. We ordered olive oil with the bread, but it unfortunately never arrived. We also reordered salt, which was brought to us with a hesitant attitude. Overall, we didn't feel particularly warmly welcomed. The vitello was very good, though. We waited a long time for our order. And we spent a while puzzling over which wines were available, as they weren't marked on the menu.

Nice ambiance, but the service was a bit unattentive. The food was okay, but I've had better pasta dishes. Everything was a bit more expensive. I wouldn't go back, but it's definitely worth a try if you're in town.

This enchanting restaurant, housed in a historic residence in Cannobio, stands out for its refined charm. The spaces, both inside and out, accommodate numerous tables, all tastefully furnished with attention to detail. We began our meal with BBQ veal with tuna sauce, delicious and enhanced by excellent quality tuna. Next, we sampled a selection of first courses: the house ravioli, served with a datterini tomato sauce and tomato flakes, were fresh and flavorful; the tajarin with truffle met our expectations thanks to the generous amount of truffle; and the lake carbonara captivated our palate with its originality. A bottle of excellent prosecco accompanied everything, enhancing the gastronomic experience. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, exceeding expectations. A special touch was the parmesan cheese they brought for the carbonara, at the request of a foreign friend, making the service much appreciated.

Ein richtiger Geheimtipp! Wir hatten das große Glück, einige Tage in diesem charmanten, kleinen Hotel zu verbringen, und es war eine absolut bezaubernde Erfahrung. Das Hotel wird liebevoll von einer freundlichen Familie geführt, die jedem Gast das Gefühl gibt, Teil ihrer eigenen Familie zu sein. Die Atmosphäre ist authentisch und warmherzig, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm macht. Das Zimmer war gemütlich, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, mit einem schönen kleinen Balkon. Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight – frisch zubereitete italienische Spezialitäten, die den Tag perfekt starten ließen. Aber auch für einen gemütlichen Abend, kann man das Restaurant sehr empfehlen - man sieht und schmeckt die Liebe und Mühe die ins Essen gesteckt wird. Was dieses Hotel wirklich auszeichnet, ist die persönliche Betreuung und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Leidenschaft und Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Wir können dieses kleine, familiengeführte Hotel jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einer authentischen, entspannten und herzlichen Unterkunft in Italien ist. Es war ein echtes Highlight unseres Urlaubs, und wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!
