Sax Restaurant In Ostuni

We entered, drawn by the menu displayed outside, initially for an aperitif, with the idea of ​​eventually staying for dinner. We ordered panzerottini and meatballs, which weren't bad. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the two Aperol Spritzes, poorly prepared and with an unpleasant sweetness. When we pointed this out, the waiter replied that "that's how they make Spritzes," showing no willingness to offer a solution. We weren't asked if we wanted them remade or if we preferred an alternative. After this episode, we decided to go elsewhere for dinner. On a positive note: the €22 total at the register was rounded up by €2, a gesture we appreciated and which led us to upgrade our rating to 3 stars.

Welcoming place, wide selection of excellent food; we had the pucce and they were delicious! Excellent value for money, and the owner is super helpful, welcoming, and kind. I recommend this place to everyone!

I wasn't convinced by the pizza dough🍕, but the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. The service was excellent, and the location was beautiful, both inside and especially outside, where you can sit in the quaint alleys of Ostuni. Overall, the value for money was good 💰👍. Updated 12/25/2025 We went a second time and wanted to try the salads (€9) and two first courses (€9 and €13). Everything was excellent and very filling, and the prices were reasonable considering it's a tourist spot. Good pizza, not enough the mixture, very good service and location.

We were wandering around Ostuni and discovered this place by chance. We had a delicious pizza. The prices were very reasonable, and the owner and his team were extremely courteous and professional. I highly recommend it.

The service we received from all the staff was excellent, but I can't say the same about the food; I wasn't very lucky. My husband ordered pizza, and it was delicious, but I ordered pasta, and it was incredibly salty. For dessert, I had tiramisu that was frozen inside and warm outside, as if they had heated it to defrost it. In short, I didn't have much luck with the food. That said, the place is nice, and the prices are reasonable.

Really good restaurant! Very nice service and super attentive! We have our Thanksgiving meal last night at the restaurant and everything we ordered was delicious. And again the service was the best.

My fiance and I had a wonderful dinner at Sax. The pizza, fresh pasta and tiramisu were delightful. The service and ambiance was perfect for a last meal in Ostuni before heading back home. Definitely recommend them!

The food was super delicious, you have a lot of choice of puccia and pizza, drinks are good as well and the owners are very nice! The best place in Ostuni! We will come back soon for sure :)
