Saikyosushi In Rovigo

It's been a while since I've been back to this restaurant, but I must say that it is certainly one of the best in Rovigo. Interesting and thoughtful portions. Excellent service and the owner often stops between the tables to talk to customers and, in my opinion, this is a good thing compared to other similar places where the service is very detached and cold. Highly recommended and worth trying.

Well maintained and furnished AYCE restaurant, everything seemed clean to me. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Very fast service. Service of cute and decorated dishes; Classic disposable wooden chopsticks. Very very limited lunch menu. Dishes generally well presented, in a very simple and linear style. I appreciated the salmon theme, as it had the right proportion of the filling inside, and the gunkan sake with seaweed on the outside. The quality of the food varied from dish to dish, but there were several things that didn't convince me, including: the raw salmon had a not very pleasant aftertaste, which was particularly evident in the sashimi, where you can't hide it with anything; the rice was sometimes too sticky and stuck; the tempura was mushy and not well fried; the miso soup was almost tasteless; the edamame was mushy and overcooked; the soy sauce a little too salty (and I'm a huge soy sauce lover). Overall the food, unfortunately, did not convince me. Relatively low prices, considering the general price increases.

Quiet place to eat sushi at a slightly cheaper price than other sushi restaurants in the city. Ate very well. Udon with prawns and vegetables, the best of all the udon eaten so far in general. All the other dishes were also very good and fast service.

Restaurant in the center, very nice and quiet. Very kind and attentive staff. Very fresh fish, both Chinese and Japanese dishes are good. We will definitely be back!
