This is exactly how I imagine a snack bar should be: small and cozy. It has a small menu, but there's something for everyone. Like most people, I had the Kaiserschmarrn. A huge portion and absolutely delicious. The service was prompt and very friendly. The view was fantastic.

Galmain Hof offers its guests traditional dishes, well-cooked, wholesome, with authentic flavors and generous portions at a fair price. The service is extremely friendly, and the view from the terrace is fantastic. It's just a half-hour walk from the Unterstell cable car mountain station, along a section of the "Alta Via di Merano" trail, passing by the new Skywalk. Please note: they don't have ATMs; payment is cash only!

28/02/2026: A modern atmosphere with a predominantly traditional cuisine, including Milanese risotto and smoked salmon. Excellent wine list, reasonably priced: top-quality Lagrein. The Acquerello risotto is surprising. The sausage with sauerkraut and potatoes is delicious. Fast service.

30/12/2025: They serve very tasty pizzas with generous toppings. I had the house pizza myself, which was delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service is very friendly. Highly recommended all around.
27/10/2025: A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere in this family-run restaurant. We had pizza and trout fillet, both highly recommended. They also offer a small pizza. The pizza base was super-thin and crispy, the toppings evenly distributed, and the crust was just the right width. And Lagrein. Everything is served at truly reasonable prices. One of our regulars. Edit 2025: Still very good, definitely recommend it!
