We had lunch as a family on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in this restaurant with medieval decor nestled in a small, typical Lazio village (Casalvieri) and it was a delicious moment not only for the excellent flavor of each dish but also for the warm welcome from Marco and Zio who, above all, gave us a little history lesson of this unique place. We learned that this restaurant was also a refuge for the "partigiani" during the Second World War. The dishes are generous and the beef is of high quality! Marco insisted on presenting us on a platter several ribs of beef so that my husband and cousin could choose them, which is rare! The hamburgers are also divine, accompanied by skillfully prepared potatoes or green vegetables! Of course, the antipasto (mix of cold cuts, various cheeses, white beans in sauce, etc.) was also a real delight. Not to mention the desserts... I can only recommend this restaurant 100% and in all objectivity!!!!

It is truly a 5 star place. The place is cared for in every little detail has a beautiful and important history that the owner kindly told us. There were two of us and we ate a lot and well at a more than reasonable price. The strong point of this restaurant besides the food, is the very kind staff and the location

The food is quality and very good. The service is impeccable. Very welcoming environment where you can spend a pleasant evening. There are also musical instruments made available for anyone who wants to do some free music. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Siamo capitati per caso in una fresca serata primaverile, infrasettimanale. Il gestore, Vittorio, è stato molto accogliente e disponibile. Il locale è frutto di una sapiente ristrutturazione di un'antica abitazione romana, in un'ambientazione medioevale unica nel suo genere, un locale davvero suggestivo che si presta a serate in allegria nelle quali gli ospiti sono liberi di suonare i vari strumenti musicali a disposizione. Un'ampia scelta di pietanze con ingredienti di prima qualità. Sapori eccellenti, tutto veramente buono! Piatti della tradizione per quanto riguarda i primi, maggiormente elaborati i secondi, porzioni abbondanti. Lo consiglio vivamente, torneremo di sicuro! In estate i tavoli sono anche all'esterno.

Characteristic place, medieval setting. Abundant and delicious food. It really looks like grandma's kitchen. Friendly and pleasant staff. Fair and above all honest prices. Try it to believe it.
