Really good food & great selection! The staff was very friendly, spoke english and the menu was through a QR code also available in italian, english, and german. Highly recommend place!

We booked through The Fork after reading the online reviews. The food was below our expectations; we chose pizza, dumplings, and potato tortei with jam. Unfortunately, the dough was heavy, and the tortei were fried in used oil, making them difficult to digest. The dumplings were good, but nothing special.

Great experience! The appetizer of traditional cured meats was truly special and delicious; for my main course, I wanted to try the rabbit with polenta and vegetables, and I was pleasantly surprised. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the polenta and vegetables were delicious and cooked just right. We watched the pizzas pass by, and they looked delicious, as did the desserts. But by then, we were full... The staff was very kind and attentive. I wish we had a restaurant this close to home...!

A seguito di un consiglio di una gentilissima ragazza conosciuta vicino ai 2 laghi di Tavon, abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante dove abbiamo scoperto e mangiato per la prima volta il tortel di patate...locale molto grande, le ragazze/cameriere molto gentili e cortesi. Abbiamo preso il giro al tortel con affettati misti, formaggi e insalate miste. Tutto ottimo e abbondante!! Anche i dolci molto buoni. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo! Lo consigliamo...non ho dato il massimo dei voti perché un signore (non so se proprietario o dipendente), un po' freddo e mancanza di cordialità e sorriso...cmq ottimi prodotti, complimenti!!

Osteria del Pettirosso

12/09/2025: Osteria del Pettirosso is a firm favourite in Rovereto: an intimate atmosphere, quality Trentino cuisine including canederli, carne salada, tartare, and homemade desserts. Excellent wines. Thanks to Paolo, always passionate and available. Highly recommended!
11/09/2025: The experience at this osteria was overall positive. The dishes were well-cooked, visually appealing, and presented with attention to detail. The passion behind the preparation of the dishes was evident, and they were both tasty and well-balanced. A less convincing aspect, however, was the bill, which was quite high. Some details, such as the water served on tap (not in a sealed bottle) at €2.50 for half a liter, were a bit perplexing and contributed to the feeling of a price that wasn't entirely reasonable. Worth mentioning, however, was the friendliness and cordiality of Mr. Michele, who added a human and pleasant touch to the experience. In summary: excellent cuisine and a warm welcome, but the quality/price ratio could be improved.
