Ristorante Moosbauer In Bolzano

We stayed here for a week and felt completely at home. The restrooms were always clean. Leaves were removed from the pitches almost daily, and the site overall gave a well-maintained and clean impression. If there's anything to criticize, it's the rather spartanly furnished and decentralized area for emptying the chemical toilet. It simply lacks a storage area and a more pleasant design. But that shouldn't stop us from coming back.

Super friendly welcome. Very good location for visiting Bolzano or Merano. A bus leaves directly there. The laundry and dishwashing rooms are very clean and tidy. The restaurant is excellent. The site is a bit small, but the individual pitches are spacious.

Suitable for cyclists. You just have to arrive on time, as the camping area is limited. Registering by phone is pointless.

I've noticed the topic of dogs, or rather, a downgrade by dog ​​owners, in some of the negative reviews (including those of other sites in the region). Downgrading sites because you're not allowed to bring your four-legged friend is a NO-GO! In that case, you should refrain from writing a review. Only if you don't find any information, for example, on the operator's website (but you can also call ahead to be on the safe side), should you complain. Anyone who reads the Moosbauer price list will also see that the number of four-legged friends is limited when camping here. And, of course, even a Pinscher or Miniature Dachshund can be a "terrorist." We have a mixed breed (Labrador/Collie) that we don't take to campsites for good reason (although he's a great dog). With all due respect, dear fellow dog owners, anyone who takes their four-legged friend on a trip can't expect to be welcomed with open arms everywhere. This is even more so when spots are limited, which some people actually like. Now to the site. The restaurant is very good. Service is friendly. The restrooms are nice, clean, and sufficiently large. I used the swimming pool once (out of three days of heavy rain). That's also a plus, and the fact that you can't swim after 8 p.m.... You want peace and quiet at some point. The size of the sites wouldn't be a problem. However, the allocation is questionable because smaller mobile homes often get larger sites than, for example, we do with our 7.4-meter boat. The access is large enough, and the sites are, in principle, enough. Distance is also sufficient; when camping, you can sometimes hear your neighbors snoring, even if the mobile home etc. is further away. That's just camping... If you don't really have anything to complain about, I'd rate it 4-5. You always have to put things in perspective. A glamping site on the Baltic Sea is only partially comparable to a campsite in South Tyrol. The comparison should never be overlooked. Therefore, this site is definitely recommended.

A very well-maintained site, offering a pleasant atmosphere. Trees and shrubs provide shade and privacy. Clean restrooms and very friendly staff. A cozy restaurant (reservations recommended) with delicious pizza make this a great campsite. With the provided "Guest Pass," many buses and trains can be used free of charge. The bus stop is right on site.

Stayed here for 4 nights on my motorbike trip. Great site, outstanding toilet and shower block, best I have seen. Didn't use the restaurant, but it looked great. Friendly staff. Would definitely come back either on bike or motorbike.

1 man tent €17. Not great for tents, it’s gravel and you’re squeezed in with other tent folk on 2 pitches, but at least they cater for tents. It was quite full when I was there. Restaurant on site, which is very nice. Spar shop and restaurants 10 min bike ride away. This is a high end campsite, so is immaculate.
