L'Uliveto is a MUST during our summer vacations in Calabria. We've been eating here for years, and we always love coming back—and we always bring our friends who come to visit.
Easy, family atmosphere, delicious traditional food, the true Calabrian flavor: Fileja in all its forms (nduja, eggplant, ragu, white beans, etc.), pipi and potatoes, local meats like chicken and rabbit. What more could you ask for?
We'll definitely be back!
I recommend the fileja with eggplant.

Excellent traditional Calabrian cuisine. Truly authentic, high-quality ingredients. Frittellle, stuffed eggplant, pollo al mattone, pipi e patate are unmissable. A very well-kept restaurant surrounded by greenery. We always love returning. Congratulations!

My boyfriend and I had dinner at this place, discovered on a friend's recommendation. We were delighted, starting with the warm welcome from the staff, who made us feel right at home. We ordered the house appetizer, two first courses, a second course, and a side dish to share. We left feeling full (especially considering the generous portions 😁) and very satisfied with the food. Each dish was prepared with love and using locally sourced, quality ingredients. Typical Calabrian cuisine, just like home. We recommend the eggplant meatballs, the fileja with pork ragù, and the pollo al mattone (which was incredible 🫠). Absolutely fair prices. We'll definitely be back.

We had dinner. The best Calabrian food you can get. The appetizers are amazing, really good. The beans were top notch, the grilled vegetables were top notch (even better than mine 😎). The handmade Fileia were truly exceptional. The best? The eggplant ones 🍆. Too bad I didn't get the rabbit.

Hillside location, offering cool, tranquil surroundings. Typical Calabrian cuisine; excellent handmade fileja, zucchini flower fritters, potatoes, and eggplant. We ordered stockfish with potatoes, rabbit, pike perch, and potatoes, and much more. The man who served us was kind, friendly, and attentive. Great!
