The rooms are small and a bit dated, but tidy and clean. The staff is attentive and courteous. The most satisfying thing was definitely the food. The portions were generous and of good quality. The menu was rich and varied, with a wide selection of both meat and fish. Recommended especially for its location, as it's close to the sea and has an agreement with Bagno 95.

I just spent a week at this hotel. After finding it by chance while surfing the internet, I decided to try it out, even though I had no expectations. Impeccable welcome; meticulous cleanliness. Excellent food service; attentive, fast, super helpful, and always ready to accommodate guests' requests. Beach service, included in the rate, was equally high. Thank you all for the wonderful holiday we spent with you.

I stayed at the Hotel Primula Azzurra for three weeks. It was a satisfying and positive experience on all fronts. We appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, starting with Gabriella, and continuing with Haider and Claudia (both of whom we thank for their kindness and helpfulness, especially with our children). The food was excellent; we had a great time! The recently renovated property is in an excellent location, just steps from the pine forest and the sea. Keep up the good work! We'll definitely be back.

29/10/2025: I don't often write restaurant reviews, but we had the best meal of our holiday here – almost fine dining, and at very reasonable prices. The historic building is truly a gem among Scilla's already beautiful architecture, and dining on the airy terrace overlooking the sea is particularly lovely. But what really made the evening special was the incredibly warm and welcoming sommelier, who guided us through the evening with charm and humor and clearly knows his stuff – even if you only order a single wine by the glass! Thank you for a wonderful last evening in Calabria. We'll be back!
24/10/2025: On our walk through the beautiful Chianalea neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant. It can be a bit annoying to climb a long staircase to reach the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, but the effort is worth it because the views from there are magnificent. The entire restaurant is tastefully decorated. This carefully curated setting helped us achieve a very high level of gastronomic pleasure. We found the swordfish steaks to be very well seasoned and full of flavor. The tomato and burrata salad was a perfect accompaniment. The tomatoes tasted real, which is hard to find. Pizzo's truffle was perfectly cooked: we thought it was delicious. We paired the meal with a very smooth Greco Calabrian white wine. Both the maitre d' and the rest of the staff were impeccable in their work.

Trattoria "A me casa"

28/12/2025: "Trattoria a me casa" (literally, "Trattoria at my house"), the name truly reflects the reality: the restaurant, even just physically, evokes traditional "home cooking," with meticulous attention to detail and a breathtaking view to enjoy while dining at your table, in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, perfect for this Christmas season and beyond. My husband and I chose this place to spend a day as a couple enjoying good food, and we were completely satisfied. Each course was unique and delicious, thanks both to the aesthetics of the plates and, above all, the flavor of each ingredient (enhanced by chef Elena), which brought us back to our traditions. The portions were also perfect, allowing us to sample everything without having to sacrifice anything (a detail not to be underestimated considering today's mass-produced cuisine). It was also a pleasure to be served by Giuseppe, who was ready to accommodate our every request, making everything even more enjoyable with his banter. I like to attach photos to really convey what I'm talking about, and I hope you all can go at least once to try it and believe it. And what can I say: thanks to all the staff at the trattoria and to me at home, hoping to see you again soon.
22/12/2025: If you're looking for substance, authentic flavors, and a warm welcome that makes you feel part of the family, then you've found a treasure. As soon as you step inside, you're overwhelmed by the aroma of soffritto and sauce simmering in the kitchen. ​
