We had lunch in the bright outdoor terrace. We started with a delicious hot fish mosaic appetizer accompanied by caramelized onion, sultanas, dried tomatoes, then moved on to spaghetti with red prawns, lime and bottarga, and to finish, baked pear on a bed of ricotta and chopped peanuts. Good service with just the right amount of waiting between courses.

We went there for lunch and had a great time, welcomed in a very bright terrace. We started with a delicious appetizer, very tasty and assorted, then moved on to spaghetti with porcini mushrooms, red prawns and bottarga. The service was just right, with good timing between courses and a more than fair quality and price ratio.

We had dinner at this restaurant yesterday. Everything was excellent, but the fish-filled cappelletti were a cut above the rest. The grilled food was good but rather poor, especially for the price. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

We were sitting at a table near Mr. and Mrs. Zakovsky and overheard the conversation with Chef Nicolò. I'll just say that a customer who puts Parmesan cheese on seafood risotto has no right to speak for itself. The red prawn from Mazara is an excellent product without equal, so the hundreds of prawn dishes the Zakovskys boast of having eaten around the world are as good as the hamburger from the kebab shop near my house.
Let's go to our dinner.
We travel a lot and give just as many reviews. My wife and I can honestly say that we've discovered at La Barca a cuisine of love.
Quality, tradition, innovation, extreme rigor. A rarity. Go there.

Informal atmosphere, a bit of a wait for the main courses (the first courses were quicker).
Freshly caught local fish, everything delicious: from the starters to the main courses, to the fried dishes. It's a shame we're only on vacation for a week.
