The establishment on the coast of the municipality of Fondi, therefore bordering Gaeta, is positioned within sight of the small promontory that hides the Gulf of Sperlonga. Under the terrace, where we ate, the umbrellas are lined up with swimmers enjoying the sea which is certainly among the most beautiful in the region. The menu is very poor, it is August and therefore a wide offering was expected. Instead, the waiter recites it without offering the leaflet containing the dishes because there is little availability. We take a seafood appetizer and spaghetti with clams for two. Water and coffee. The starter is decent, but the spaghetti is absolutely low quality. The clams are those bought at the supermarket and this wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for everything being too immersed in oil. I can't explain why there was all that oil at the base of the spaghetti, but I can only say that the palate was unable to fully enjoy the dish. The clams were rubbery and therefore difficult to digest. Sin. The price over €35 per person. I had eaten the same dish here on other occasions with very different levels of quality.
