Very well-kept, clean place. Excellent service, very attentive waiters, even though it was very busy. The first courses we chose were very good, and you could taste that they were made with fresh products. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Boat trip with friends to Elba Island and we treat ourselves to a fish lunch in this little restaurant on the seafront of Cavo. Really quiet climate and a relaxing atmosphere in addition to a really good fish lunch.

Excellent restaurant with outdoor tables. we recommend the zuppettina (mussels, clams, scampi, prawns and calamari) wonderful. then I also recommend the stockfish all'elbese and finally the tuna and cherry tomato salad. everything top like the service👍

Good food but the staff was lazy and poorly trained (when we asked what the red sassi appetizer was, we were told seafood appetizer..) The menu is quite generic with no specific description of the ingredients. The place was empty unlike the place next door which was full and we wondered why, perhaps the reason is both the staff as mentioned before and the bill perhaps a little above average. Taking into account the prices and quality of the food, it is better to go to other restaurants in the area.

Cozy place with great food and beautiful view We stayed at Sassi Rossi and found a truly welcoming environment. The food was very good, well prepared and looked after. The staff proved to be highly trained and very helpful, especially with our dog: they are truly pet-friendly, even with large animals, and this makes the difference.

28/05/2025: Prenotato per pranzo all’inizio della nostra vacanza in zona….Bel ristorante ampio comodo spazi giusti… Menu prettamente di pesce Cestino di pane con schiaccia di loro produzione molto buona, benvenuto della cucina con polpetta di patate e baccalà… buona non unta… Abbiamo scelto alici impanate con provola e maionese ai capperi, cozze ripiene rosse, e spaghettone con ragù bianco di pesce e bottarga… Alici buone sfiziose croccanti non unte, maionese ai capperi buon accompagnamento.. Cozze ripiene, con impasto di carne al sugo, buone gustose un filo sapide ma possibile con molluschi… Spaghettone…buona la cottura, ragù con orata e non ho avvertito i gamberi ma sentiti i e visto i tentacoli tritati…pietanza senza sapori emergenti, se sfumato col vino, non si avvertiva il sentore, anche la bottarga sembrava assente, piatto insipido ma soprattutto mancava la manteca, il sughetto che lega e rende la pasta un po’ cremosa… Servizio corretto presente disponibile, costo assolutamente corretto e adeguato buona la qualità… Più che apprezzato il gesto nei confronti del nostro cane… dei biscottini !!!
