Ristorante Erta In Avio

We chose this spot spontaneously. Everyone was generous, and the people were incredibly nice and helpful. We had a broken antenna that wouldn't retract, so they promptly provided us with a ladder and tools. The restaurant on site is a delight: fast, good food at reasonable prices.

A very good place to stop when traveling south or north. The delicious pasta dishes, and especially the delicious tiramisu, in the on-site restaurant are worth a stop.

You eat very well at a more than fair price!!!

We chose this spot for a stopover on the A22. It's super close to the exit. This night, we were only staying with one other motorhome. A clean bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink, including hot water. Next to it, there's a waste disposal facility for all your camper needs and a place to wash dishes. The Castello di Avio is worth a visit in town. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, otherwise until 5 p.m. It's worth it! There's a winery in town with very good wines. We bought some even though it was closed. And the icing on the cake: the site's food. Typical regional cuisine, no pizza, everything arrived very early and was very tasty. In the photo: three kinds of pasta, one of which was rice and gnocchi with cream cheese. As a final schnapps on the house, you get two glasses and two bottles of various alcoholic beverages to pour yourself. The pitch still costs 20 euros. It doesn't get any better than this! Regarding the supposed smells of a sewage treatment plant, my nose tells me they're more like animal production smells, typically farmed. And the highway and train are very subtle at night.

We stopped in for lunch, passing through. Frequented mostly by locals, workers, and office workers. Excellent local cuisine and a decent wine by the glass. Good starters and desserts. Prices are a bit high for the location.

Stayed here during a business trip. I highly recommend it. Nothing was charged extra, as the 1* reviews suggest. For me, 5/5

A good, simple restaurant with delicious food. Perfect for a stopover while traveling. The homemade tiramisu is excellent. The service is super friendly and very attentive.

We had lunch at this restaurant while passing by the highway. Convenient location, right after the toll booth. Ample parking. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Dogs are welcome. We ate excellently: potato polenta with braised beef and polenta with venison, recommended because the meat was so tender it melted in your mouth. The dishes are accompanied by a trio of side dishes (roast potatoes, vegetables, and sauerkraut with sausages). Excellent service, punctual and fast. Recommended.
