Ristorante '' e manicomi '' da Mario In Brisighella

Fantastic typical mountain restaurant, a truly amazing fillet with porcini mushrooms, polenta and fried cream, mixed crostini influenced by Tuscany... good service. We returned after a year and Mario does not disappoint: guinea fowl with pomegranate, the mixed crostini are always top notch, and the caramelized pears with chocolate are super. When we come to Brisighella, Mario's is a must-stop.

I recently discovered this historic restaurant, despite having lived in Brisighella for several years! The location is beautiful, the menu is excellent, the food is excellent and high-quality, and the service is incredibly friendly! It has definitely become one of my favorite restaurants in Brisighella. P.S. The mushroom pappardelle are incredible!

Everything is perfect in this typical Romagna trattoria located not far from the town of Brisighella, at the top of a 3km climb. A lovely location, especially in summer, to enjoy the coolness of the hill and the majestic view. Authentic and traditional food. You'll find, among other things, appetizers of cured meats and cheeses with the addition of fried crescentina and other tempura dishes. Excellent mixed crostini, expertly portioned. Traditional first courses, including a sumptuous pappardelle with ragù, stand out. Tortelloni, strozzapreti, garganelli, and more are also available. Main courses are meat-based, as per tradition, including grilled meats, roasts, and even wild boar or venison for those with a more robust palate. Excellent homemade desserts. Reasonably priced. The staff is young, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommended.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The meat was incredibly tender. The porcini mushrooms were exceptional.

Wonderful restaurant located on the road that goes up from Brighella. We arrived from Riolo. It's very old and well-kept, with very kind staff. Wonderful food, excellent. The roasts are fantastic. The fillet is excellent. Quality meat. Homemade pasta. Delicious. Everything was truly amazing. Excellent appetizers, I tried the guinea fowl and the fillet. I also tried polenta with goat's cheese... excellent. You need to book at least a couple of weeks in advance.

Definitely a great place for summer, nestled in a natural setting. Excellent first courses, wild boar and porcini mushrooms. Main course: rabbit, guinea fowl, and fillet—tender and perfectly cooked. The fried foods? Equally good. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
