04/11/2025: Beautiful location, great fish, but the staff doesn't really speak English, so as a regular visitor, especially with a backpack, you might be somewhat ignored...
The food was excellent!
16/10/2025: The place is beautiful; we were recommended to go, but it's clearly outdated. The rustic style may be appealing, but when it's a little dusty, it quickly loses its charm. The waiter was kind and helpful, although he forgot the vegetables we'd requested at the last minute; he hadn't written them down, so we ended up not paying for them.
He also told us he'd bring us a cooler for the wine bottle, but then he forgot... only the stand was left next to the table, without the bucket 🤣. There was a little surprise under the table: everything was covered in cobwebs, a "vintage" touch we weren't expecting. The glasses were very cloudy, probably from limescale or the dishwasher, not very nice to look at.
The bill was €5 per person plus a 10% service charge, which was basically the tip already decided. We didn't want more water, but the waiter said, "It's okay, I'll bring it anyway"... and of course we found it on the bill (3 bottles, €5 each).
Wines start at around €30 a bottle and easily reach €200-€300 for champagne. The four of us spent around €240 for two appetizers, two risottos, a pasta dish, a mixed grill of grilled fish, a bottle of wine, and three coffees. For a lunch, honestly, it was a bit too much.
The location was pleasant and the staff were friendly, but between prices, details, and cleanliness, there's definitely room for improvement. All four of us shared this review.
