A popular restaurant for a midday business lunch. It would be a good idea to defrost the bread before serving. And for the Caprese, use mozzarella, not a square pizzaiola.

A superb experience at this restaurant, which I found by chance. Impeccable service, the gentleman is adorable and welcoming; he knows his stuff. The food is simple, but everything is excellent. Thank you to them for a very pleasant evening.

27/12/2025: Antico Caffè Franchin, a location in Rovigo's main square... with well-appointed decor and interesting stylistic choices. The upstairs room is attractive and worth a visit. Prices are reasonable for a place right in the center. The staff are professional. The only thing I'd like to see is a little updating the bathrooms.
09/11/2025: Good food, of course, and a great location (central city square), but a bit pricey. €20 for a first course and water (we didn't read the prices at the door).
