Positive experience. In the suggestive square of Pomponesco, a pleasant restaurant in a spartan environment. Very good cold cuts, a very tasty "luadel". The herb tortelli are good and the pumpkin tortelli are good. The only slightly negative note was the rather cold and borderline grumpy service. Still recommended

Trattoria of the past that takes us back to a time where simple flavors reigned supreme. Saltini offers excellent quality cured meats accompanied by the inevitable and exquisite Pomponesco bread, Luadel and traditional rural dishes such as donkey stew, wild boar, agnoli in broth, pumpkin and herb tortelli, duck tagliatelle, shank and more. The wine list is very basic but in line with local tradition

Outstanding. I have lived abroad for years and every time I return to Italy on holiday I return to eat at Cavalier Saltini. Pumpkin tortelli and luadel cured meats are in my top-10 unforgettable flavors that I will miss forever. Exceptional quality. The place is a typical trattoria, beautiful as it is simple. It is also spacious. I have always been very fond of seeing calendars with photos of motorbike trips. I hope to return soon

08/01/2025: The tavern, located in the town of Cimbriolo, is immersed in the evocative landscape of the Castellucchio countryside. Reaching it is simple, thanks to the characteristic country roads that lead directly to the restaurant. We chose to have lunch with the family and were pleasantly impressed by the cuisine, authentically Mantuan, with fresh homemade pasta and simple but tasty dishes. Prices are competitive and advantageous compared to other similar venues. Furthermore, for those traveling with an electric car, a convenient charging station is available in the restaurant car park. The service stands out for the friendliness of the staff and managers, making the experience even more pleasant.
