Dinner for four was truly fantastic! Excellent baked potato cake accompanied by excellent cured meats and cheeses, with a side of beans and cabbage. Impeccable service, and Mrs. Lucia is truly one of a kind.

30/12/2025: We had the tourist menu for lunch. 3 choices for starters, 3 choices for main courses, and only 1 side dish. The dishes are plentiful, but the quality is fairly average. You eat on plastic placemats.

Bastione Lounge & Restaurant

25/01/2026: We've been to Riva so many times, but never to the Bastione. We walked up the well-maintained path. You can also take the elevator for €8 (up and down) or a single ride for €5. At the top, food and drinks are self-service. We only had drinks, which were the same price as in town. The view over the lake and Riva is breathtaking. Anyone who wants to continue to the small church should be fit for the more difficult climb. Plan on about another hour.
09/01/2026: Takes~20 minutes hike from the city center, the root is poorly marked on google maps, but is very nice in practice. View worth the efforts
