We went up from Ponticello by bus, walked to the Rif. Vallanbro, returned and had lunch at the Rif. Prato Piazza, as always 5-star hospitality and service! ..... Return on foot to the stunning Ponticello

A beautiful mountain refuge with a bar and restaurant. Outdoor seating is ideal on sunny days, even in winter. Quick and friendly service, traditional South Tyrolean dishes, generous portions, and high quality.

Super friendly service. We popped in for a quick coffee but were left amazed by the owner's skill and kindness. We went on December 23rd; the road was open and free, and parking was free. The view is stunning.

We had lunch on Sunday, a beautiful sunny day with a splendid view of the mountains. If you want to eat well as well as enjoy the view, stop here. Well done.

We reached it one morning on the Immaculate Conception Bridge. Snow tires are mandatory, and be very careful, as it's icy in some places. There was no parking fee. After leaving the car, after a few hundred meters, a dirt road leads to this refuge, which doesn't resemble a refuge, strictly speaking. A very large hotel/restaurant, Tyrolean style, with three indoor dining rooms and a large bar. From the parking lot, passing by the refuge, you take a very easy and flat winding road until you reach another refuge, closed in winter. The service is fast, friendly, and helpful. The indoor dining rooms fill up quickly, especially on holidays. Outside, there are plenty of tables with benches. The food is prepared and served with the style of a 4-star restaurant! Good ingredients and a good quality/price ratio, despite being a place with easy access. The only bathrooms are accessible by stairs; I didn't see any disabled facilities, but they're certainly equipped. Dogs are allowed inside the restaurant. The view is great while eating outside. Congratulations! Recommended

Hotel with a beautiful view, easily accessible. The rooms were well-equipped, comfortable, and had a shared bathroom. We ate very well!
