Cozy restaurant - stunning view - plentiful drinks - decent quality and excellent price! I would say passed with full marks.

The location is heaven. I didn't have lunch, I think that 17 euros for a first course is excessive. It is a shelter served by the road....

We stopped by the restaurant after a round of cross-country skiing. It has everything you'd expect.

Delicious food and good Aperol Spritz. Nice service, even if it is sometimes very busy, the waitresses are friendly. Nice view of the mountains. Good buckwheat cake.

Very nicely located and good selection. Unfortunately, it's often very crowded, which means the staff is overwhelmed and you have to wait a really long time...

We parked the car in the parking lot and set off to reach the refuge. A route of approximately 4.5 km all uphill with a height difference of approximately 500 metres. It was tough but after about 1 hour and 20 min. we arrived at the refuge and had a divine lunch. Then we took a bus back to the parking lot. Tough but satisfying experience.

It's the first time I've done a review for a refuge, but the people at the "Rifugio Prato Piazza", in Alta Pusteria, are truly very kind and deserve it. The environment is comfortable, inside and outside. Sitting outdoors and eating while facing beautiful mountains, lots of snow in winter and lots of greenery in summer is fantastic. There we ate delicious desserts and exquisite first courses. In July I really liked the fettuccine with game ragù. Every year the refuge is a usual stop.
