Rifugio Prato Piazza In Braies

After a wonderful circular hike to Prato Piazza, we stopped for lunch at the Rifugio Prato Piazza, and what can I say? It was a perfect experience! The food was nothing short of excellent: the cheese-filled mezzelune were a delight, soft and flavorful, while the polenta with mushrooms and cheese was a warm and delicious embrace, just what we needed after the hike. The desserts also won us over, each one more delicious than the last, a sweet finale we will never forget. The service was impeccable: the staff was super kind, attentive, and with that smile that makes you feel immediately at ease. A place that combines top-notch food, a dreamy atmosphere, and a warm welcome.

I didn't stay at the refuge, but I stopped for a snack during the hike to Prato Piazza. It's in a beautiful location on a sunny terrace with a stunning view. The dishes are simple, carefully prepared, and very good (including the Kaisersmarren). The staff is courteous and attentive. It's an enchanting place!

We arrived without booking (in June) and they offered us a superb typical room with a large balcony (mountain view) for 70€ per night with dinner. Warm welcome, fair price for the Dolomites, good location and good meal (vegetarian option) + incredible tiramisu!

The mountain inn has a superb location. We received a very warm welcome, enjoyed delicious food, and the room was very clean... We lacked nothing. The price-performance ratio is excellent! The atmosphere was wonderful and we felt very comfortable! :) We'd love to come back :)

Beautifully located, easily accessible by bike, whether on an e-bike or a bio-bike (assuming you're in top shape). Very tasty and beautifully presented food.

Everything was perfect. I went in to get a drink because I was tired from trekking, and ordered food. It was really delicious. The price was also very reasonable, not to rip off tourists. I had food like pork cutlet and pasta, and it was great. I recommend it.

Placed in a heavenly place, good food and friendly staff. Excellent strudel!

Coffee was excellent here, would highly recommend. We came back later for lunch which was also really good. Prices are reasonable and staff were very helpful.
