Cozy mountain hut run by very nice people! Delicious food and an interesting location among the graveyards from WWI.

Refuge run by exceptional people, everything well taken care of. For dinner we had polenta soup with wild heather which was exceptional

A wonderful place where you feel like family. We slept there to do the Alta Via Bepi Zac, a very beautiful via ferrata and of great historical interest (it is important not to feel dizzy, the sections are exposed). The refuge has splendid views, welcoming rooms, an excellent dinner. Thanks to the family who manages it with care and passion

Thank you! The first word I feel like writing because we really felt at home, the Zac family who runs this refuge is special. In addition to the excellent welcome and hospitality, I can add that the refuge is really well kept, with attention to detail, simple but not banal. Wood is the true master of the house, worked with skill it makes the environment pleasant. The rooms are excellent. The position is super, located in a saddle it allows a 360° panoramic view between two ridges that were the scene of the First World War, from here there is immediate access to the Bepi Zac equipped path, yes that same Zac whose family still manages the refuge. From east to south it is possible to admire the Civetta, the Pelmo and the magnificent Pale di San Martino, to the west the sunset behind the Antermoia lights up King Laurino's palace in gold.

Refuge in a fairytale location.

Al rifugio si arriva con un’escursione facile di un’oretta circa. Da lì ci sono varie opzioni tra cui la ferrata Bepi Zac oppure proseguire per il rifugio Taramelli in Val Monzoni. La sosta è obbligatoria per gustare un buon caffè ed una fetta di strudel, il più buono che abbia mai mangiato. Ho avuto la fortuna di averlo assaggiato appena sfornato, una vera delizia. Personale gentile, prezzi onesti.

Come sempre l'esperienza in rifugio è ricca di storie e racconti. Anche con Floriano e Elisabetta, assieme ai loro 4 figli, sono davvero bravi. Rifugio super pulito e rinnovato. La nostra camera doppia era perfetta. Cibo di ottima qualità e gusto. Insomma lo consiglio fortemente. Rifugio collocato in una posizione fantastica e ricca di storia!
