Rifugio Passo delle Selle In Pozza di fassa

Stopping at this high-mountain refuge was not only breathtaking for the views of these magnificent peaks, but also delightful for the hospitality of the owners, who were smiling and kind, incredibly hospitable and friendly, speaking their Ladin language, a distinctly different accent from that of the valley, Pozza, and the surrounding area. All this made our stop, accompanied by their authentic products, a true moment of relaxation and recharging our batteries for the rest of our hike. We didn't stay, so I can't objectively comment on the rooms, but trusting in their hospitality, we'd definitely try the overnight experience with homemade breakfast and friendly accommodation. What can I say? We'll definitely return, and perhaps next time we'll continue along the Grande Vera trail. Hugs!

A beautiful refuge and a beautiful stop directly from the San Pellegrino Pass

Family-run refuge with very kind owners. Excellent location with stunning views of the Dolomites, spotless rooms and bathrooms, excellent food.

I would return to this refuge, located in a spectacular location, even just to speak with the owners, who have proven to be incredibly kind. Such a warm welcome, friendliness, and empathy. We thank Mrs. Elisabetta, Mr. Floriano, Gabriel, and Sebastian. The cuisine, prepared by one of their sons, is excellent. I hope to book at least one night in this well-kept, clean refuge, located in an enchanting setting, as soon as possible. Thank you for everything!

A beautiful refuge, and it's not particularly difficult to get to from the San Pellegrino Pass. On June 28, 2025, I changed my review from 4 to 5 stars. We stayed here with some friends from the Italian Alpine Club. The refuge is truly beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were excellent and plentiful, and the manager was friendly. It may not be exactly cheap, but the running costs are certainly not negligible. If I have the chance, I'll return. The sunsets and sunrises are fantastic.

We had a lunch in the rifugio and pasta was really delicious, as well as beer :) We took a shelter during a storm and we felt comfortable there, staff is also nice.

Dopo una bella passeggiata impegnativa con partenza dal parcheggio di San Pellegrino, siamo rimasti senza parole dalla vista e dalla posizione spettacolare del Rifugio Le Selle. Vista mozzafiato e accoglienza calorosa. Abbiamo mangiato un piatto di pasta al pomodoro, salsiccia e polenta, panino con speck e formaggio e come dolce yogurt con miele e noci, piatti buonissimi e prezzi molto onesti. Ci ritorneremo di sicuro!
